MITM ~ Who's going?

I was originally going to go to MME2007 this year, but recently decided that I would attend MITM. So I was wanting to know, whos got this down on thier calender??:)

Scotti280 Jan 30, 2007 04:08 PM

I do. Going to go again this year. Last year was pretty fun, got a 15% pulley there. But then I have far less to drive to get there than you. Can't wait for summer....snow, snow, snow everywhere here....more to come tomorrow! But hey it is CO! Now only if I was a skier. Take care...see you there?

Shellbell Jan 30, 2007 06:12 PM

190 days!!! I'll be there!!!

MiniMaybee Jan 30, 2007 07:14 PM

We are so there. This year we'll be staying longer than just the one night we did last year. This all assumes of course that this damn winter ever ends and we all actually thaw by August!

wrx_xb9r Jan 30, 2007 07:21 PM

Our family will be back again this year. I don't think we will have as many mods done this time.

txwerks Jan 30, 2007 07:34 PM

Some of the TSW crew will be there!!! :)

It Works Jan 30, 2007 07:35 PM

I will most definitely be there! Had a blast last time:thumbsup:

UsCoops Jan 30, 2007 07:54 PM

I'll definitely be there, to celebrate Luie's birthday - came from AZ last year to pick him up in Denver and headed straight there before heading home. Had a great time, and wouldn't miss it this year!

jsouz Jan 30, 2007 08:49 PM

I'll be there.

But then, I have to be. We really LOVE hearing from you all at this point - can't wait to be up on Mt. Evans again, 14,264 ft up, paved all the way, at midnight....nekkid. Maybe without the fog and clouds this time.....

Signature graphics are out, just have not loaded mine. The rest of the package is coming soon...and we will open up registration right after the Dragon is over.

Some new surprises this year...you will have fun again.

Thanks for the thread.

Well Jonathan, I figured you would be there!! ;)

gtshnzr Jan 31, 2007 12:53 PM

Count us in. Maybe I can get a few more people from Chicago to make the trip.

miniGarfield Feb 1, 2007 12:03 PM

I really wanted to make this year since we didn't go last year but we might not make it this year either!
My sister is having a baby and I want to save most of my vacation time for that. She's in Dallas.
We're already going to amviv. We'll see some of you there!

BLUCOOPR Feb 6, 2007 08:26 PM

I plan on being there, long drive from Charlotte N.C. Mysidekick don't know if he can make it since his race team was sold and has new owner (GINN Racing) Shellbell hope to see you there and all the other Minimanics from across this great Nation of ours. Hats off to the 5280 guys and gals!! Luke Shields, President Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas

jsouz Feb 6, 2007 08:46 PM

Glad to hear from you, Luke!

We will be seeing you sooner rather than later, as we are bringing our caravan down to the MOTD 2007 - Dragon in April. We will look for you there.

As for MITM2 (CRTC Coopers Return to Copper) we anticipate your arrival, with or without sidekick. There should be another caravan from St Louis, KC, etc. so they should be easy to pick up. We will help you find them.

Be sure to look for us at the Dragon. The MINI5280 party cabin is the 1st one by the lower parking lot, as you head up the hill. Easy to find, and we will have the banner out. Come on by, you are always welcome.

Thanks,

Jonathan

We will definitely be there again this year, along with an even bigger contingent from Arizona and the Dynamic Mini Collective :)

jsouz Feb 7, 2007 06:31 AM

Come get high again in your MINI!

14,246 ft up Mt. Evans, paved all the way, midnight, nekkid.

Can't wait.

I'm in. Going to actually get a hotel room this time, as much fun as it was camping in the rain with the dogs last year. My wife is currently pregnant so she is going to stay home and mind the pups. Trying to save my pennies for an bigger better intercooler before then--alas, the baby fund is probably going to take precedent over the MINI fund....sigh. Had such a blast on the modified Steamboat run hwy 134 over Gore Pass...woohoo...can't wait

BrewSwapGuy Feb 8, 2007 07:46 AM

You can bet your sweet ass I will be there this year. Got my time off from work approved already. Is it August yet? I think I'm almost looking more forward to this than the Dragon....buuuuuut the Brew Swap pushed that over the edge.

See some of you in May, the rest of you in August.

randers51 Feb 8, 2007 07:56 AM

Count me in. I wouldn't miss it for anything. Last year was so much fun. Just hope the rain stays away this year too.

Shellbell Feb 8, 2007 08:04 AM

HEY LUKE!!!!
I look forward to seeing you in August!! Let me know your hotel arrangements as time gets closer. You were a great "roomie" last year!!

CyebrOgre Feb 13, 2007 04:14 PM

I will be there this year! My only regret is that I was unable to attend last year!

purplefreak60 Feb 14, 2007 08:43 AM

Wouldn't miss it...!

JohnBLZ Feb 17, 2007 10:00 PM

Can someone give me the skinny on events? Things to do? :)

jsouz Feb 18, 2007 07:30 PM

Send me a PM

with your regular email address. I will send you last year's final agenda. This year will be similar, with some additions including the 1st Annual MITM Coopers at Copper Brewfestivalbeerthingy.

Jonathan, Organizer

Zyamfier Feb 18, 2007 07:51 PM

Brewfestivalbeerthingy.....Now I am no marketing professional........but hey that could work.
Either way I will be there with the Dragon Wagon. This year it may just be a trailer queen on display in the lot.
