Too bad you all were not stopping in Denver, there are a bunch of us driving up on Thursday morning from here. And if you hit Denver, We could all do dinner Wednesday night.

 

You can drive through Denver Thursday morning and join us in the drive, we will most likely drive up 285 after we meet up with Heather from Detailer's Paradise, OctaneGuy, and Webb Motorsports.

This is my first post, just picked up my new BRG MINI Cooper S Friday :-)
I couldn't signup until I had my car!

My husband and I will be coming up Friday, via Peak to Peak Highway, from Lyons, Colorado.
We are not affiliated with a club yet... just getting started.

Then of course, we will see you at MITIM2. When you do sign up for the event, be sure to make your lodging arrangements at Copper and be sure to sign up for both the Friday and Saturday dinners.

There are only about 15 days left to register for all parts of the event...you will have a great time with us.

Here it is I'm one happy MINI owner!

 

Hi.....I am registered as #5753.
My husband and I will be leaving from northeast Louisiana on August 6 and will arrive in Copper Mt on August 8. We plan to leave out on Sunday and head for Yellowstone.
Where we live, there are no Mini clubs, so we are winging it alone.
This will be our first MITM, although we have driven to Ouray,Colorado twice........last year in a Jeep and year before last in our first MINI.

Leaving from home sometime Friday am (hopefully), can't leave Thursday cuz I have school. Driving up to Denver and then over to the resort via major highways. On the way home, may take the 'scenic' route instead.
I made reservations for a double budget room, and may be looking for a roomie Fri/Sat nights. Not for sure yet, but will know in the next few days.

How does one find out about lodging options other than "budget"?

For lodging other than budget, go to www.coppercolorado.com and click on "lodging" or call CMR Copper Mountain Resort Toll Free 866-837-2996. Another option is to Google Copper condos and similar searches to find private condos for rent (though it seemed to me that the prices for the privately-owned condos are similar to Copper's pricing).

for Copper Lodging. You were looking at the paragraph that said "Budget Lodging". In paragraph 2 of that page, there is a notation about our Copper Lodging, the phone number, and our event code. Please use that to call Copper, or one of the other routines suggested here.

Well, looks like my 3 dropped to 1. Both ladies discovered other plans for the weekend.
On a brighter note (for me, anyway) I've got my exhaust install set up with Custom MINI Shop. Yay!!!

This will be my first MITM. I wanted to come last year, but work didn't allow it.
Just registered for the event today.
I'll be going to both dinners.
Looks like i'm coming solo. I haven't decided how i'm getting there, it will either be by caravan or going through the black hills and then heading south.
I might also wait til the 8th and caravan down to Nebraska with Ladidah.
Can't wait!
I'll be staying in nearby Frisco at the Alpine Inn, because I got deal for staying at a hotel instead of staying at the resort.

 

Pam, be sure & ask around MITM's for Shellbell (me) & say "hi". My sister lives in Maitland on Cranes Ct (Lake Sybellia)sorry about the spelling!
I went to the MINI event in Vegas & didn't have a MINI but there were so many nice/friendly people that any time I wanted to go on a drive...... people were more than happy to let me tag along!
We're nice folks here in Colorado!!! You'll have fun!!

If I had a brain I would just take it out and play with it.

 

Find the parking structure and the registration tent. You cannot miss it. Ask for me, we will find you some swag that you can take with you and show off. At least, one of our license plates and grille badges. You will be the only one in FLA with them.
