Sounds great Jonathan. I had talked to Rick about putting paperwork and what not in the trailer at night so somewhere next to the registration tent would be great. We could use the pull out shelf as a desk or a bar depending on the time of day.

Yes, Jonathan, we will if there is enough room. Don't want to take up space for something else. We will have 2 since Jon will have his also. They are not alike. I really appreciate this!!!!

Thanks,
Betty

We did it - we're registered!

Order number 5676. We were the 55th mini to register.
We will be leaving from Oklahoma City, OK.
OKMini is our group.
This is our first MITM.
We are leaving on August 8th from Oklahoma City. We'll be there in plenty of time for the Brew Swap, that's for sure.

We are staying at Copper Mountain in a 1 bedroom condo. Can't wait!

When I originally registered, it looked like we would be bringing my MINI, but if all goes as planned, we will be bringing my wifes MINI instead.

She placed her order for her 07 MCS today, and with any luck it will be here before we head to Colorado.

So, since I registered my MINI, if we end up getting hers in time, how can I change the registration on which one is being brought?

Don't worry about the first registration

but go ahead and register the new one if you bring it. Unfortunately, due to illness and unexpected events, there is always someone (and their MINI) who is unable to make the event at the last minute.

Your MINI will be in that category, and there is no need to 'unregister'.

Depending on the delivery date of your wife's, register it when you like. We do close registration for the event, dinners, etc on or about August 1 so that we can have our final tallies, order t-shirts, etc.

Thanks for asking, but whatever MINI you bring, we will love to see it.

Wheez are registered

Order ID# 5680
First MITM

We will be up on Friday afternoon after work, so I hope we do not miss to much! Look for us to be around the area after 2pm or so.

Of course, we will be bringing the 07 MCSa DS/w, once it gets to the us in the middle of June. The Titus made port today, so I consider it on the way.

Currently only on NAM, possibly going to hang about with mini5280.org, now to find a good place to stay near all the MINIs.

On Order and Arriving soon.
Don

(I really have to do a sig. file soon).

And the World's Largest Ball of Twine

is not far away in Cawker City, KS.

You are also not far from Lebanon, KS the geographic center of the US.

Otherwise, useless trivia.

The Road to MITM --- CRTC

Hey abby,
What time and what route you taking to Colorado? We're just up the road in Oklahoma and leaving Wednesday. Actually we're 20 miles from Kansas on I-35.
Where's you first stop going to be for Wed night?

Hey, hows it going?

Havn't decided on the route this year.

Last year we drove 287 west into New Mexico and then North on 25.

Looks like 35 North thru OK and then West on 70 in Kansas is a direct shot.

Hey Batman...

You already know this but....

The route thru KS on the Interstate is of course the most direct, the fastest, and boring as heck.

The route thru western OK thru Amarillo is more scenic, slower, and more interesting. Go thru Raton then up the I-25 and it is really pretty. This way, you can also cut off at either Pueblo or Colorado Springs, head west, then north thru the valley up into Breckenridge and to Copper.

The Pueblo route would go thru Canon City then Fairplay and into Breck.

The Colorado Springs route would go thru Woodland Park then Fairplay, and on into Breck.

Just some thoughts. This will take more time.

I'm definitely not going the speediest of routes because I've been dying to see Ouray, CO for a couple years now. Gotta pass through there.

This route throught the panhandle to Raton in a splended drive.

The Colorado Springs route would go thru Woodland Park then Fairplay, and on into Breck.

These are both nice suggestions coming in kinda the back way. I particularly think I-70 is a crappy road from Denver to Copper. Rough/Crowded/Rough

Ok, I have vacation booked and will formally register on July 31st, assuming I have a car running at that time

Coming from Castle Rock, CO

Base plan is to bring the Wolseley 1000 and 8 year old son.

Hope no-one minds that my top speed @ 14,000 feet is about 5 mph...
