Struts/Shocks replacement

Hello,

My 2013 countryman S started being very bumpy recently so it's in need of new shocks and struts. I heard the Bilsteins are a good brand and I found this on ECS tuning

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-bilstein...t/22-213709kt/

The problem is the kit doesn't include the strut mounts or the spring and I'm not sure what else the kit is missing that I might need. Is there a fully assembled strut kit that I can buy somewhere? I'm only interested in restoring the original ride quality so I'm not looking for any sport struts. I found this on rockauto but I'm not sure how reliable this brand is.

My suggestion is NOT to get that RockAuto kit….

The set from ECS is decent, and will restore your factory ride. I would also suggest this kit be added to your purchase:

You will need a spring compressor for the job.

If I want to replace both the front and rear shocks/struts, do I need to buy two of the kits you linked? Also, I don't see any springs in that kit, is the idea to reuse my current springs?

Yep those two kits.

You can reuse the current springs but inspect the rear springs as they are known to rust and crack on the back of the countryman. If they look new and no issues with rust you can reuse them.

If they are bad in the back PM you vin and i can get you the part numbers for the oem springs. MINI has a spring table that calculates the springs for Genuine MINI, all other springs are lowering springs.
