Tail/brake lights

I have no brake or tail lights on either side. The third top brake light works. The reverse and blinkers lights work. I've changed the socket holder on both sides tried different bulbs. Tested all fuses with a test light and don't have any without power. I am not sure which one is for the brake lights. Can't find a good decoder reference for mini fuse box. I have a constant 12v at #2 pin on the plug, #1 is blinker and #3 is reverse. But have no power at 4 or 6 at anytime. I lost power to the lower bulbs a few weeks ago and just let it go then the other day lost the top ones. It had ANZ LEDS in it when they went out. Have tried regular halogen in it since they quit working. Would appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of where else to look to get it fixed. I'm not sure where grounds or relays (if they have any) or where else to look. And if I could get the exact fuse is tail/brake lights. 2016 mini S countryman all4

I haven't looked anything up on it yet so sorry for the ignorance. But it would make only just the rears not work? Cause the front and sides and everything else you listed works without problems.

yes, it’s basically an ECU for lights. This is what gets programmed when you’re doing coding for your lights and other various functions

Or look into something like a Carly, where you plug it into the OBD port and with the Carly app you can do alot of the coding and resetting from your phone.
mycarly.com

I originally had a short on my license plate bulbs and even after you fix the short it still doesn't work until you reset the module. However I did get a bulb fault on the center display. If you use LED's also there is the option to disable the bulb check since LED's don't always present themselves electrically the same as halogens, sometimes they think the bulb is out due to the current draw or they might fast flash.

So is bimmer code essentially the same as Carly? Is there more options with one over the other?

I tried Bimmer Code (I think that's what it was) and it worked, if its the one I used the whole thing was in German and it was a little more dicey on changing things and downloading things. Carly has a pretty wrapper around everything and seems a little more 'foolproof'. I think you can get what you want done with Bimmer Code and a Dongle.

Well I tried coding with bimmer code and the only thing I could find was enabling them to have LED. I turned that on and off and still have no brake or tail lights. I also went through the light check part off it. Is there something I am not checking? Does someone else have any other ideas or something in the expert mode that goes more into it for a reset? If someone thinks of something let me know while I am trying to research into it farther thank you.
