Afe pro dry drop in filter question.

Hey guys,

So I ordered an afe pro dry drop in filter from a seller on Amazon. Wasn't directly from afe. Part number was 31-10174. It says it fits my 2015 CMS but when the filter came in it didn't fit. It was about an inch too long and about 1/8 of an inch too narrow. When I tried to put the filter in it kinda fell in and curved downwards. Pstuning did refund me the money but unfortunately in the process of removing the filter I broke the turbo inlet end of the stock air intake tube and had to buy a new one for $160 bucks! So my question is this.....has anyone brought this filter and if so, did it drop in as an exact fit or did it have to be forced? Also, was it the same part/product number. Thanks in advance!!
