Cobalt intake imploded!

Well i guess my car sucks (HAR HAR). Opened the hood today and discovered my Cobalt cone filter on my '03 imploded. It looks like someone grabbed it and crushed it.

Since Moss mini doesnt sell Cobalt anymore, what do you guys suggest?

Just the K&N filter?

You can purchase a K&N replacement cone filter for around $60. Just keep the existing tube from the Cobalt, and slip on the K&N.

if it is the AFE filter, you can still buy those online. Moss used them for their intakes, so you might have one of those. Just google AFE or Advanced Filter Engineering, or someting like that. It is either AFE or AFI...can't remember at this hour.

I have since installing the filter notice better gas milage and it make a neat growl at @3500 RPM.

I have also cut the old air filter down to all that left is the bracket to support the connecter shown in the photo to keep the connector from flopping around
