Headlights

What is the best replacement headlight bulbs for 2012 countryman s. Is one brand better than another, sylvania, piaa, Philip's, ge, for longevity, brightness ?

I've always been happy with silverstar ... available at any decent parts store and wally world

note I did NOT say BEST ...... these are the only ones I've used and I've been happy with the improvement.

Today many folks want LED

I suggest doing some research b4 jumping on the first LED you see

Has anyone tried any of these led replacement with good results ? Not blinding oncoming cars ?

ive also tries the silverstar but would like to try led if they r brighter

Don't most of these cars have HIDs?

Hit or miss. A lot dont. Ours doesnt.

Point being.... The OP should probably state what type of lights he has before taking on suggestions.

I have 2012 all 4 with the reflector headlight using old type halogen bulbs, looking for options of plug and play better/stronger light output

Those Phillips bulbs look good! One thing about LED's is they put out a lot of heat...just look at the size of the heat sinks on the back of a MINI lighting assembly with LED's. I'd be wary of swapping to LED's if the car didn't come with them.

Yep, we have them here for the R60/ R61, Halogen and factory Xenon set ups. If you want to upgrade,. And have projectors with focused light.

H13 is the stock halogen bulbs and PIAA and silverstars are what most people like,.
