Rik from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Close to a new (to me) Countryman owner, and have been doing some research into the Double Din headache, when looking to add to the Countryman center console. I've been playing in photoshop, and have carefully scaled the META Double Din bezel, so that it fits the Countryman profile. Although this would mean a "kitbash (scale model term)", it looks like it may be possible to graft the META into the stock Countryman. This is hypothetical, but by removing what looks like the thin cubby (remember, I am in the process of purchasing), everything might be able to shimmy down.
Now a question to existing R60 owners who have dared open that console... is there enough room?
it even says COUNTRYMAN 17 UP in the advert if that helps?, all the minis quoted are F series, The countryman from 2010 until F series has the same dash, my cm is a 12 and I have the 14 black dash parts fitted and also if you look at the picture you can see the hazard light switch in the F series position, it does say HARDTOP 14 UP which is a F series again.
Scroll down the page to the compatability list not the header that is rather vague.

That dumb set up is MINIs set up now, that part on the F series is no longer the speedo you so like on your R series, that part is just allowing you to fit your own system other than mini fit, there are however android head units incorporating a speedo for the R series on the market.
