Hello there

I am new to this forum. Just bought a 2012 Countryman S. I really like it.
Especially driving with the sport mode.

I do have a question about this car. Someone told me that the car doesn't have the sensor for engine oil level and coolant level. is that true? I am little worry cause just in case the engine oil level is pretty low or empty, I won't get any warning, same as the coolant. Or that is just only for my 2012 model? The newer one has sensor.

Thanks.

The CravenSpeed Dipstick looks good, I will definitely get one.

I got couple questions if you can help me. Today is a bad day, I parked the car by the beach area and someone hit it and took off. Got a broken rear driver side brake light.

Also i notice the the headlights have some kind of stuffs on the plastic.
Is it because of the intensive heat from the HID ? Both side have it.
I also wanted to change the HID bulbs. I opened the hood and see the access to the HID bulbs, but I can't seem to remove it. Do you know how ?

Have you ever try the Sprintbooster or Pedal Box? I have that on my 2011 BMW 740i, it makes the car so much fun to drive, I am planning to get one for the mini :-)

Is our Speedometer unit upgradeable? Like in the future can we change it to the one built in Nav...etc.

Sorry for the long questions.

Welcome aboard. Would love to see some pix. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. We have over 40 years experience with the brand both on and off the track, and received the first BMW MINI is the USA. I would definitely recommend the Sprint Booster, and we have loads of testimonials from those who love it.
