Calling for Service

I Have a 2012 countryman base thats just over 30000 miles. It's calling for a service but will not say what for. Does it normally call for it at 30000? What would need to be serviced? Just looking for a little guidance here do not want to bring it in if its unnecessary. Thanks!

Then its service time. Lots of them are checks, like engine area and brakes, they change your oil, wiper blades. If you are still under the 3yr/36k maintenance warranty , they will replace parts if they meet the requirements.

This service is based on the CBS, so its changes depending on driving styles, etc. call the dealer and see if you are still under the maintenance warranty. If not , let me know.

Would you recommend having it inspected at the dealership or a local (reputable) shop? I can handle changing the oil and what not on my own, i'm more concerned about having a proper inspection so I know if there's any more serious issues.

Ok, I would then find an independent rep. shop, the MINI dealership will be much more. The upside to the dealer is if there is any outstanding tsb or warranty things that pop up they will cover them.

I just had my 30,000 mile service done at my local MINI dealer. It consisted of an oil change, wiper blade change, and brake fluid change. From what I understand, the MINI has condition-based service so YMMV.
