R60 service repair manual

Anyone know where I can get a digital copy of service manual for 2016 R60? I'm doing some mods on my Countryman and knowing what the torque specifications are for different bolts and such is always handy. A lot of after market parts state to reference the "Service Manual" for info on how to do things. I think it's just a way of aftermarket companies getting around liability issues. Thanks

From my understanding is there aren't any service manuals out for the Countryman yet like the Bentley Manual.

No Bentley manual for the Countryman yet, when one does come out , we will let you know. PM me and I can send you a like to a manual that might work for you.

Maybe my wording is wrong. I'm looking for a workshop manual for the R60. What do the service techs at Mini use when they work on car? I found a subscription that can be purchased for access to a workshop manual for a 2014 Countryman. The company is "Mitchell1" it looks like they are some what aligned with SnapOn tools. Their slogan is "your E auto repair solution". Any one know or use their service? I used their temp password to demo their product and it looks like it would suffice. I think it was 16.00 a year for access to one car.

I'm not sure, but $16.00 a year sounds way low for a product like that. You might want to verify that. Bentley publications would be out of business if that was the case.

Edit - wow I found what you are talking about, seems to be $25.99 per year, $16 for a month. Let us know how it is if you use it.

Yes, that's correct regarding price. Also $39.99 for four years.

Well, I bit on the Mitchell1.com "repair manual" ( http://www.eAutoRepair.net ) and quite frankly, I thought the BMW TIS system was obtuse. This ones worse.

All I was looking for really was the part numbers and locations of the air and oil filters in the vehicle. After messing around with this system for an hour I can safely say I never ran into a graphic or text description with part numbers. All I've found was boiler plate descriptive procedure information.

I know this thread is old, but I would not advise purchasing this service.

Does anyone know if there is a reputable service manual/system for the 2014 R60 series? My particular needs, to be specific, are for a 2014 Countryman S All4.

Now that's a much more useful link than the e-manual.

I just saw this, too. Absolute horsesh** that I can't repair my own vehicle. My mini is 9 yrs old and the annual subscription to this is like half the actual value of my car. Ridiculous. What do they think I'm going to do, take my $5k car to the dealer to get $20k worth of work labor (plus parts) when I decide to rebuild the power/drivetrain to handle 300HP?

if you're clever enough to mod a mini to 300 hp, you might be interested to know that you can install the BMW TIS (Rheingold or ISTA-D) software on your own. Just don't ask too many questions or tell too many people. if you get my drift.

Wow... that really sucks and like the site says, violates consumer laws. Typical BMW/Mini caring more about customer $ than anything else.

re

This is not possible because every brand gives manuals and I can tell you about the https://onlypdfmanuals.com/workshop/...per-countryman website. You can try this for more information.

And for those who plan to sign up for access to www.bmwtis.com, I recommend reviewing the list of SIB's to see what you want to download:
