Chrome Grill Piece Removal

Does anyone know if this huge chrome grill piece is easily removable? Not the exterior piece, but the one right under my grill badge. Thanks!

Chrome grille bar

If you can't figure out how to remove it. Do what I did on my Clubman, I covered it with electrical tape. Old trick we did back in the 60s. It will stay on forever and you can remove it at anytime. Also, You also might use the plastic dip/coat that many are using.

I want to dip it, but don't want to mask everything off. Was just hoping it would pop off. I'll try my blackline tape but it's not quite wide enough to cover the piece.

I seriously cannot get enough of your dog. Too cute. This thread here goes over the removal of the grille in case you want to go that route to plastidip it and not mask everything off.
