'14 Countryman rattles

I'm taking Wolowitz into the service dept at the dealership for the first time tomorrow. I have several rattles in the dash area that are driving me nuts on certain roads. Has anyone successfully had this issue resolved? I would love to be able to point the dealership at what is causing the issues if I could. As of now all I can tell them is there is a rattle up near the mirror and another in the center console, but I can't isolate it to a spot. It's like it's behind the center speedo. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks!

Honestly, my suggestion is just to learn to live with them! Unfortunately!
I have quite a few that the dealer says they just can't isolate, or fix. The best solution is the volume **** on the radio!

EDIT. . .I did fix one of my rattles by myself. All it took was a folded up empty gum container, and I crammed it between my tach and the steering column! :sigh:

The volume control has been my answer, but when my wife rides with me, she doesn't like the radio turned up, so consequently you hear the rattle. It's really only on certain road surfaces that it's there, so I usually don't even hear them till the weekend when we have to go to certain places, then she gives me that "you paid how much for this car that rattles?" look.

I have something rattling around in the vicinity of gear box. I think it sounds like a rock or a screw rattling around (several inches of travel), but I haven't brought it up to a dealer. My initial thought was that something was rolling around in the NM short shifter box cover (not even sure I'd be able to hear something in the cabin) I had installed in January...about the time I started to hear the rattle.

Rattles

The large trim ring Bezel around the speedometer is a known rattle - if you press forward on the trim ring at 12,3,6 and 9 O'Clock positions, see if it helps. If it does, dealer will take off and add some pads behind bezel. This helped on mine - it took them a couple of tries.
There is still a rattle in my mini connect GPS screen, this is a rattle that the dealers says they cannot fix. I have read of others having same issue.
Rattles are one of the negatives of owning a Countryman.

Amazing how this happens. I took the car in today and not a single rattle going down the same road that ALWAYS before caused it....it was as if it knew I was headed to the dealer. They still did put felt tape inside the section near the mirror and switches in the front, but the bad one I get behind the speedo, they wouldn't touch as it just wasn't happening today. The dealer did a great job of trying...went for a ride with me and everything. All I could think of was that it was due to me removing my GPS. I had pushed in the cable between the center speedo section and the section just to the right of the steering column. Perhaps it was causing something to be out of alignment. I did however hear it just a bit tonight AFTER picking it up from the dealer. I talked to other people waiting on their cars today and rattles seem to be an extremely common issue. Sad cause other than the little occasional rattle, this car is wonderful.

Thanks for everyone's advice!

I'm sorry to hear this, I had assumed that this wouldn't be a problem in the newer cars would be. Guess I need to be extra careful with my '13 given the rough shape of some of the roads over here.
