Under our Master R60 LED Interior Lighting Kit:

On the right hand side is the install instructions on all our master kits for all the interior bulbs. You can see a couple pages down how to do the front bulbs.

Click Here for R60 interior bulbs.

Thanks

I bought the ECS interior lighting kit, and I have to say it is great! It really makes a huge difference in being able to see at night. I also bought one of the ECS tool kits for removing trim and it was helpful for popping off the light covers. The instructions are very detailed. The only item I still had difficulty with was the map lights. I tried the instructions, but I ended up just popping off the map light lenses with the plastic tool and then using needle nose pliers to CAREFULLY extract and insert the bulbs. If you have a magnifying glass, the LED map lights are bright enough to burn bumble bees.

To change the map lights, you just need to pop off the covers sideways. The first time I did it to switch out the incandescent bulbs for LEDs, it took me over an hour using those instructions. This time, it took me less than five minutes to switch out for brighter LEDs.

ok. I'm interested in the 5 minute approach to replacing the front map lights. Not the hour remove the console approach. But I'm lame. So explain this sideways move. I've tried and nada. Sideways out? Tried it. Stuck. Did you use a tool to pry it?

Thanks in advance. More thanks if you avoid sarcasm.

I just installed the interior LED kit from ECS in my 2013 R59 and Mike (ECS) was very helpful with install instructions and various videos with super quick responses via PM. When it came to the overhead/dome lights I couldn't get it to move from the side as outlined in the instructions. I had to slide the trim removal tool into the front area of the dome light and pry down. It popped loose and I was able to complete the install. Just a little different than the side approach from the instructions.
