How far on a tank?

Hey everyone. I'm debating on getting a countryman but I need to know about the mileage. I currently have an 09 MCS and average around 400miles per tank and 29ish mpg. What's everyone getting in the countryman S fwd? And I'm not talking those of you that put around or try to hypermile or whatever. I need to know what you get when you just get in and drive. I'm a realtor and I need to know if I'm going to be stopping for gas every 3 days or more like once a week. Thanks!

my 2011 countryman S fwd gets about 27mpg on a mixed driving and one full tank will give about 250miles or so. my previous work was about an hr away and 98% highway driving, i was getting 33-35mpg showing me about 300miles.

if you want more detail check here: http://www.fuelly.com/car/mini/countryman - my record is in this site as well...

I am averaging right at about 300miles (give or take 15/20miles)a tank. I drive mostly HWY miles though, and I am not light on the skinny pedal.

I get about 300mi on a tank, but that is in city driving is SoCal where there is a red light every 200 feet. My Audi A4 used to get 320-330mi per tank in New Jersey, but dipped to 275 per tank in SoCal, so driving conditions make a huge difference.

Like everyone else says, it all depends on the conditions. I typically stay more on city streets in Indianapolis and the range fluctuates. Over the past 3 weeks, I only did 222 miles on 9.62 gal. When I had my trip from Knoxville up to Indy, I cranked out 341 miles on 9.78 gal.

I generally fill up before I get down to the final two marks and the gas warning chimes. So maybe that 222 could be closer to 265-285 range?? Plus the gas tank on the R60 is only 12.4 gal...smaller gas tank on bigger car

All4 here, considering being stuck in Texas traffic 80% of the time I am getting 330-345miles per tank. Unless I floor it for the fun of it.

Wow you guys make me look bad. I can barely get 20mpg. But then again, I drive it like I stole it.

Fuelly log

Check out my fuelly log http://www.fuelly.com/driver/sliksun...man/log/page/5

I drive 80% hwy somewhere between 80-90mph I am getting gas every 3rd day average about 320miles to a tank and always get 93 octane in San Antonio tx

It's one of the only reasons I want to get a passat diesel because they go 700-800/a tank 22gallon tank and keep the mini for funs

I REALLY want to stay with MINI and move up to the countryman but $45 of gas every 3 or 4 days isn't sounding so awesome. Gonna have to really think about this one.

I get around 200 miles to the tank but I too drive it like I stole it. I have filled up around every two weeks but I only have 8500 miles on it and its 18 months old.

The mpg is ok 28 usually, the thing that gets me is the tank seems so small.... I could get 300 from a tank if I Used the entire tank....Usually fill up when it shows 3 bars left and that is about 265 miles... I traded in my 2012 roadster, it got well over 350 miles before I filled up. That one less gallon in the makes a big differance. ( I really would have guessed larger car would be a larger gas tank..

Here is my mileage. I swear I'd get 2-3MPG more if I weren't in Orange County.
