Motor Humming

I am not sure I need to be concerned, but at 218 miles per hour in my Countryman I hear a slight hum in the motor.

Do I need to be concerned?

You might want to check your meds or drink less coffee. 218 mph?

Just joking. I assume you have a typo here. You might want to correct post

I told my wife there was something wrong with our CM and she would not believe me. Top speed on ours is consistently only 183 according to the digital speedo. I did see 187 one time on a long downhill stretch. I'm calling the dealer in the morning to make an appointment to have it fixed.

Is there a particular tune that your car hums or does it just make stuff up?

I assume you mean 218KPH (=135MPH)...

I couldn't tell you, I've never had mine faster than 120MPH, and even them I did not notice a HUMMM.

Are u using at least 91 octane gas. If u increase the octane u might find u will pick up 15 to 25 mph. Won't be as effective as my 218 miles per hour, but u will be at least closing the gap a little. Another possibility is to increase the air in the tires and use high test air.

Even with my second turbo, and my 110octane racing fuel, and running Nitrogen in my tires, I can't get mine to do 218MPH. You have a special CMS!
