Vinyl Wraps and a New Name

So for the last three months I've struggled to find a name for my 3.5yr old CMS. I had settled on MINIme but wasn't completely happy with it, wasn't a great fit.
Well, it finally hit me. I was returning to work after my lunch break, jamming to my tunes and there it was... Pearl.
MINI Pearl loves to jam to tunes while motoring down the highway!
I introduce to you... MINI Pearl

On another note, what have those of you with vinyl wraps paid?
I was quoted $350 for the A-Panels and that includes installation.
Is this a good price? Its from MINI Motoring Graphics.

Thanks ahead of time.

$350 seems high. I'd shop around.

I just did the A panels on my '08 in matte black vinyl. It was very easy to do.

Thanks Bport. I've gotten that same responce from a few others, but have also heard it was a good price.

If I shop around, where would anyone suggest? I'm in the Houston area.

Check with Todd at motoring badges.com. He's in Kansas City but I think he would ship you the vinyl. You'd have to install, but that's pretty easy.

Do you have a graphic picked out or is it just solid color? If its solid, buy the vinyl yourself.

If you ever come up to DFW, check out S80 on metroplexmini. He does good work.

What's the design?! also, how are u getting away with no front plate in TX-- just chancing it? I got the 'no drill' mount for mine, but I'd love to go without.

Thanks for all the tips everyone.. The design is the blackjack. I'm pretty excited about it, though it's nothing really fancy.

Broussardc, apparently they were making some changes to a few traffic rules, and left out the "no front plate" fines. So I guess I could get pulled over, but I wouldn't get fined for it.
When I have to get a plate, I'll probably get the no drill plate or the "off to the side" plate that affixes to the tow hook spot.

My wife drove an Audi TT for years without the front license plate. She did keep it in the car. She never had a problem.

I don't know about A-Panel install, but I've gotten a few quotes for viper stripes with sunroof cutout. Most were $300 for installation only. I found one for $180.

You know I read about that law error.. I think mine is coming off today. I have the tow hook mount that I do like, but nothing better than none at all.

AustinAggie-- You are the first Austinite I've seen on here. I'll keep an eye out on the road for a cosmic blue with white accents. Enjoy the rain!

Please enlighten my ignorant brain: what is an A-panel wrap? At first I thought it was the "A pillars" but wrapping those would be... not that much money.

Color Effects - It's not great, but it's free.
