Sunscreen for Windshield

Has anyone found a sunscreen for the front window yet that fits and works well? Mini doesn't make one yet for the R60. My friend working at the dealership gave me a promotional one from Burton and Mini event but it's cardboard and it gets to damn hot.

This is the one I recommend--fits perfectly--it is made for the R60. The MINI Countryman is listed under the BMW "make" drop down menu btw:

I have the Heatshield one as well. Fits perfectly and presses right up against the glass.

+1

I asked they cut out a corner to allow me to keep my GPS mount on the windshield - no problem, works great. I ordered directly from the source...

I'm using the MINI shield I got for my R53. It is wide enough but a bit shallow. Still it works OK with the visors down. And I like the convenient folding design.

Thanks everyone and appreciate the help. Being here in Florida at this time of year and car being all black, this is a mandatory piece needed for my ride.

A sun shade was the first thing I bought for my Mini. I've had a few sun shades similar to the Heat Shield (or maybe they were, I forget), but on the last one I had, the velcro strap would come unglued and leave a sticky smear on it. The foil can get really hot, too.

Now I'm a firm believer in the CoverCraft sun shades:

These are the same ones they sell at the dealer as far as I can tell. I bought one here, but there are tons of places that sell these things:

I had this problem with a Heat Shield on an earlier car, called Canvas Works, they apologized for the problem and sent out replacement straps by mail.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned eyeshades http://artisticreflection.com/MINI_Eyes.html. They are a sponsor here, and last I checked they make ones for the Countryman.

I want one. Just not sure I want to spend $150+. I may put it on my Christmas list.

I'm with you, I can't justify spending that kind of money. I was just surprised no one mentioned it as an option.
