Headlights paint

I just paint my headlights in graphite grey and put the mini logo on it.

That looks fantastic! I've been wondering if I could do something like this to my car. How do you remove the lens?

Nicely done. I've been toying with the idea of doing the body color in there.

Thanks to all. its very easy all you need is a heatgun and slowly wedge the 2 pieces apart. I will upload some shots of the same job on a R-56 non zennon headlighs very soon.

I was looking at my headlights tonight trying to decide if I should attempt. I really would like to do this in a slightly darker shade than you did, maybe same color as the tunnel wheels which are metallic and not full on black. Can't wait to see the steps by step.
Where did you get the logo?

Thanks to all of you again, I came out with the idea of the logo when i was just about to close the headlights, i think the logo was a great detail on it. I love the details on DUELL AG products and i came with that last minute.

Better than OEM blackouts!
Nice work.

Nice! By heat gun do you mean like a hair dryer or something else?

Anyone know how to do this?

I assume the hard part is removing the headlamp lens and getting it back and sealed properly. The rest is just basic masking and painting.

Sorry man i am running very busy on the shop. But i will share it soon.
Ones you removed the metal clips you should go slowly with the heat gun all around an it will start to get appart, never touch the inside part of the lens. Its easy but you got to be patient. I hope you get it done. For the logo you can go to any sing store and they can cut it for you. Hope this help :( for now.
