I did exactly what KingPagla said, and FINALLY this morning found my VIN on a boat.

I found that you can check status of the boat and see if it's loaded by searching on a partial VIN (just drop several characters off end).

I've given up on getting info from MINI. Their automated line was better than speaking with an ASKMINI rep and the Owner's Lounge, but was lacking in general. Haven't heard much from my MA and haven't bothered him too much about it.

Now that it's on the TIRRANNA, I'll get my fix from the ship tracker (and become more obsessive/compulsive).

 

Ugh, I was tracking the Dover Highway, all of yesterday and this morning...now it is "out of range" and I can't track it...it was going right down the Atlantic coast straight for Brunswick scheduled to arrive tomorrow...ugh!!

 

Well I will be picking up my old MINI from the body shop tomorrow so hopefully Friday evening or early Saturday I will be picking up my All4.

Still think the Tomar hitting Port Hueneme 8/8 is my best bet, just barely missed the last boat that left yesterday. Anyone else in the same boat?

Well after 75+ days since ordering, I am picking up my ALL4S this morning. I am happy and incredibly sad having to say goodbye to R52 and all of her speed.

 

So excited for you man! Say hi to Marco for me, make him give you some free stuff!

We will have to meet up after I get Kawby sometime!

 

All picked up and have free stuff. Come to some of the Metroplex Mini functions, they are a welcoming group. I am going to Minis in the Mountains this year (haven't been since '07) with the group.

 

I ordered him on May 24th
He went into production around June 1st
Born on June 9th
Transported to Ship on June 12th
Loaded on and sailed away on the Parisal on June 16th from Bremerhaven
Reached the Port of Baltimore, USA on June 27th around 7pm
Began Distribution Center visit around June 30th
Began Transportation to Dealer on July 7th
Will be at dealership sometime this week.
I will pick him up Friday or Saturday.

 

Congrats! I was hoping they'd get through the VDC and up to Pittsburgh faster. Mine should be arriving in Baltimore tomorrow or Wednesday. Thought there "might" be a chance to have it before I leave for vacation on the 21st, but sounds like that's unlikely. No biggie. Gives me a reason to not be so depressed when I come back from vacation!

Well the Aniara is still out of range. Should be back in range any time now. But, I did see there's an update on the WW site. They updated it today to show it's cleared customs!

I wish I were on a WW ship. I can only assume that my car arrived in Brunswick on the Dover Highway on 7/5 since my MA has confirmed twice that my car is scheduled to be on the truck on 7/11.....ASKMINI says "In Transit" and OL still shows En Route to VDC.

 

The Aniara is back in range! Just off the coast!!!

BUt who knows with him. ha.
He sent me pics for proof.

So it is an official 8 weeks from order to delivery for me.

My sales guy is Jarrett. Real nice guy. I met him a few years back at some VW shows.

I suspect mine will hit the dealership while I'm out of town. Hopefully he'll take some pictures and send them to me, to help hold me over till I get back.
