Delivery delays

My Countryman, according to my MA, was suppose to arrive at the dealer this past Wednesday the 22nd. It's Saturday and it still has not shown up. We are suppose to go pick up the car this Monday the 27th and I am worrying that it won't be there. More over then that I am wondering if something has happened to it? Our MA does not know what the hold up is, he thought maybe the snow storm delayed it.

Has anyone else experienced delays like I am experiencing? My wife and I are both excited to get the car but now we are a little worried that something may have happened to it. Paranoia setting in...

Have you heard anything about the WW site. I haven't been able to open it in the last couple of days.

I have not tried since my Countryman landed in the US until you brought it up. The tracking page I used to track my countryman does not load. Maybe it's just a temporary glitch.

I hope our car shows up tomorrow, my wife and I both have the day off and were planning on renting a car to drive down to the dealer and hopefully drive home in our new countryman. It may be a sleepless night...

lol Nicky, I know the night before I pick up mine will be sleepless as well!
Right now, not knowing where my car is, is just as nerve wracking.

I hope you get your car tomorrow! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Has your MA told you that they receive the certificate of origin for the car? Without this paperwork, they can't sell you the car.

My car isn't scheduled to be delivered yet - since it's been FOUR weeks and it's not even started production. Is anyone else in the same boat. We've reached the halfway point with zero production and now I'm worried we won't even get the car until May!

I would imagine my MA has all the necessary paperwork? He is the head of sales so I would hope he knows what he's doing.

Four Weeks and no production?!? That's crazy.

The car did not show up today, I'm bummed. My MA is not sure where it is or what the hold up is. My luck the car probably fell off the semi on the way here. He told me that when it shows up he will deliver it to us.

As someone who has gone to the dealer to pick up an ordered car (not the MINI) and be told that, yes, the car arrived and, no, they can't give it to us - I can't wish that on anyone. They literally dropped it off the truck, wiping out pretty much everything on the bottom side.

I know, right? On the 4 week mark exactly mark - he went into production...TODAY. Sigh. At least it's forward movement!

I got the car!!! It came in late today and we went and picked it up. Pictures ASAP, its suppose to be crappy tomorrow though.

Car is great fun to drive. Gear box and clutch were fine and the sport suspension made things fun on off ramps and on ramps. It looks SO much better in person, really really happy with our choice.
