R60 'Ian Cull'-like features for the R60: Auto Up windows and fogs?
'Ian Cull'-like features for the R60: Auto Up windows and fogs?
Searching for any options for the R60 that work like the old 'Ian Cull Circuits' for the R53. Most interested in the automatic fog lights and the 'double click' to roll the windows up automatically.
Are there any options like these for the newer cars?
Thanks!

Even though I am just a beginner at using the NCS Expert software to toggle settings in the various control modules (enabled weather radio, key-out door unlocking, etc.), I'm pretty sure there is a way to code the lights that function as the DRLs. If you code the fogs as the DRLs then enable DRLs in the R60 settings menu, you've got your fogs!
You may wish to research the capabilities of the NCS Expert software in the Electrical thread in the Gen 2 MINI forums and the Countryman forums. GTECKO, GeoffreyM and theta are among the luminaries of NCS Expert research for the MINI. They are active posters.

Ok, well played on the auto up windows - I was not clicking the 'up' correctly to make them work.
Didn't even know about the NCS Expert software, i'll look it up. Still thinking like an R53 owner! (Hey - BTW - do you think a 19% pulley is safe?!?
Thanks everyone!!!

More accurately, they are "configured" as DRLs in Norway and Sweden. The control modules (the FRM module in the R56/R60, IIRC) are "toggled" in software to achieve this. The wiring is virtual.
I wonder if it is possible to activate some of the Euro CM features that are not implemented in the US version, such as the 'Shift Point Display' indicator on tachometer. Also, anyone know if the US version has 'Brake Energy Regeneration'?
From a MINI press release in 2010 regarding 2011+ CM models:
"In addition, the particularly extensive selection of MINIMALISM measures on board play a
key role in the reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Technology such as Brake
Energy Regeneration, the Auto Start/Stop function, Shift Point Display and the need-based
operation of ancillary components are all included in model-specific combinations."
