All,

The offending post has been removed. So have any posts that quoted the original post. In the future, it is easier if you just report the post and then ignore - then your posts don't get deleted, just the offending one does.

Thanks for all the heads-up reporting though!

Just a reminder that profanity, whether spelled out or using special characters to try and dodge the censor, is not permitted. This is always a good time to review NAM Site Guidelines to make sure you are not inadvertently causing problems.

My opinion is...if you like it, then go for it!

If you're asking if I would do the same to my ALL4...nope. I wouldn't. But, with that said, not everyone has put a Rampant Lion graphic on their sunroof, like mine. To each his own.

Let me ask...do *you* like it??? Because at the end of the day, it's what *you* like, that really matters.

Thanks! I quoted the post and responded to it because I think homophobic comments need to be publicly called out for what they are. People need to learn that it's not about some kind of abstract political correctness but actually about what's right and wrong in the way you talk. I appreciate that the mods addressed it so quickly, though.

+1

Thanks to the mod (a fellow Hoosier) for taking quick action!

I would pull all badges off! I wish that there were no holes to fill behind the front and rear MINI emblems on my MCS... My 2 cents...

It doesn't look bad, but I would have put it under the Cooper. Do what you like that's why we buy these cars.

Thanks!

That particular post was completely rude.

I'm from the less-is-more school of thought. The grill and exhaust tips offer more than enough clues as to which CM I'm driving.

I can't wait to get the Cooper S badge off the hatch. I don't mind the ALL4 on the flanks, but model-designation on the rear is like dandruff, to me.

Of the many vehicles I've owned, two favorites were a '90 Audi V8 and a '90 Coupe Quattro. Both vehicles had the rings on the rear and nothing else, from the factory. Sweet.

V8

Coupe Q

I think we need to get back to the opening question. Just look at that CM - is that absolution black, oxen green, or cosmo blue? Nuff said. However the white top shows some taste and the anthracite wheels are a nice touch. I think we need a lot more information before we can make a final determination.

Sealy - Who's still stirring up trouble.

Dude bought an R60. He has good taste. He got Oxford Green with a white top, which I think looks great. Score another point for his taste.

He put a badge on the boot that I don't think looks as classy as the rest of the car. If I'm keeping score, that's minus a point there. Still, overall, I think he's shown excellent taste despite that one blip.

Full disclosure: I have sport stripes and three custom vinyl magnets on my boot, so those of you in the "clean look" camp might not want to trust my judgment here.

I assume you mean on your CM's boot? If not, I may not trust you, but I would find you interesting.

Sealy - Who's wondering what the magnets stick to.

Great post! BTW, you get points back for having the right color!

Cheers,

That's why included the explanatory photograph, so as to avoid any confusion.

Ooops! We don't get pictures here. I'll have to look when I get home. Sorry.
