2012 processing

I went to order my 2012 Countryman S All4, but the dealership stated that they couldn't process the order, and thus not give me the final price for the car. Apparently all the package pricing hasn't been released. Anyone have any idea when this information will be released to the dealerships?

Package pricing has been released, in fact if you browse this site you will find the complete lists somewhere. I will look now to see if I can spot them again.

The packages are not as good as the 2011 ones.

Depends on your point of view. I love the new premium package (I hate MINI sunroofs) and I like the tech package now. The new ones fit want I personally want more.

Did you order happen to include connected or connect+nav? If so I am in the same boat, MA can't create the build b/c those items are not currently available. Just have to wait it out!

You are correct, I included the tech package and that's the hold up. Any idea when the hold up will end?

We ordered a 2012 ALL4 with connect+nav last week and it entered production yesterday. The connect+nav option wasn't available via our MA's computer, but she emailed someone at BMW/MINI corporate and had them add it. Apparently they have the ability to add the tech package and/or connect/+nav but the individual dealerships don't right now. Maybe your MA could do the same?

I ordered mine with Connected + Nav about a month ago. I don't think my MA was able to enter the order directly, but it did get placed. Mine has finished production and is on the way to port now.

I agree about the packages, I was disappointed. Yeah, I could buy everything separately but it pushed the price up quite a bit. I had planned on 2 packages with the 2011 pricing but with 2012 I only bought one. So I'll have a few less features than I originally planned on.

I ordered with the connect+nav option last week as well. I will check and see if I am in production yet. The dealer did not tell me about any delays. I just checked, not scheduled yet.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong here with the 2012 packages
So the Cold Weather package now includes
-Heated front seat
-Heated Powerfold Mirrors and Jets
2012 Premium Package
-Alarm System
- Keyless Entry
-Auto-doming rear-view mirror
-Rain Sensors
-Auto AC
2012 Tech Package
-Arm Rest
-Park Distance
-HK Sound
- Mini Connect + Nav

So the issue i have now, is that i have to pay extra for the Fog Lights, Sport Button, and the Xenon adaptive headlights in a 2012 All4 S?

I tried to enter an order today, but apparently you may no longer order connect without NAV. Under any circumstances. And the tech with NAV is not available until October.

So your dealer tried to place the order today and no go with tech + nav? How did you get the Oct date?

Singha

Did you try with your dealer recently with the tech package?

Those packages look correct, but the Fog Lights and Sport Button should be standard (i.e. included) features now; The Adaptive Xenon headlights are an option that you have to pay extra for.

On my recent order, I was told by the MA that in order to get the Adaptive Headlights for $100 you also need to order the Rain Sensing Wipers/Auto Headlight option for $250. Can anyone confirm this?

That's correct. See notes of linked for option restrictions/mandatory combinations.

They are standard, you are most correct. The Adaptive headlights i have to pay extra for and get the white turn signals.

Regardless i called the dealership this morning/afternoon and they apparently still do not have their September allocations.

Seeing it's now the 6th, does that mean they should be getting it any day now? Starting to get a little anxious

Got a production number...

Ok, so I placed my order today sans Tech Pkg. However, my sales director informed me that itbas simple as sending a letter to corporate to have the tech Pkg added manually on their end to my production number. No need to wait on the computer to accept the tech Pkg at the dealership. The wait for my car to be born, however...sigh. Oh well, looks like Merry Christmas to me!!!

so i placed my order in today for the All4 S got the Tech, Cold and Premium package, plus polar beige interior and Xenon adaptive head lights, flat load all for about 34,900 (give or take 200 ).

Had a great MA, the only issue is that there are currently no allocations for ordering with the Tech...so God knows how long I have to wait. Any ideas?

Also wanted to share my experience ordering the car. I worked with Norm at Herb Chambers MINI in Boston and by far he's been one of the easiest dealers I have ever worked with.

All the local MINI dealers aren't very local (about 45-50 minutes for the closest one) but he was willing to work everything out by phone and was very tolerant of my numerous questions and anxieties.
