Big Day Soon!!

The Mini Gods' have revealed that "Miss Coco" will be "out-of-production" on Friday! The nervous parents can't wait for any kind of news, but this was a milestone achieved. It seems like it's been months' already, actually we're approaching the 2-month date so far. She's coming to SW Florida, so we're really not sure how long that would take. It's a shame Mini doesn't offer some video or pics, to go along with the birthing process, I'd pay extra for that! I know there are several of us who are on that list right now, so the best we can do is fantasize about all those great drives to come!

If you call Ask Mini the automated info will tell you what is happening during the birthing. It does lag behind but it's better then nothing. Mine is at the Port right now waiting for the cruise to GA.

The birth photos would be great. I bet they would have to hire someone to do that. When we order our boat, we got a bunch of photos of it being built. It was really cool to see.

On the Mini website there's a link to see the production facilities, England I guess, but that would be interesting....if it worked, which it doesn't !!!!!!

It would be cool to be able to plan a factory visit for the day your car is being produced (of course that could be scary also... childbirth may be a beautiful thing, but the act itself is not so pretty) Of course are they even doing tours of the Austrian facility?

A webcam shot of the factory production line is totally do-able..

Perhaps the closest you can get to seeing ur car before it off-loads in the US would be Bremerhaven, where the CM's are loaded onto the ship. Just gotta refresh every 5 min til u see CM's
