Cargo net price

Just drove a Countryman last weekend, and was playing with the configurator. I came to the cargo net, and the configurator says it is $250?

Did they mistakenly add a '0', or is that absolutely insane?

It's absolutely insane. No extra '0' added. I think I'd buy a generic for $12 and laugh all the way to the bank.

Harbor Frieght has small elastic cargo nets for less than ten bucks, I got one for my Clubman.

I was told by my MA that the cargo net is actually a pet net also. It has a metal bar that runs across the roof behind the front seats and two clips that hook in under the front of the back seats.
When your not using the cargo net like above, the metal bar folds in half so you can store it.

Anyone have a pic of the factory net? Not sure if I should keep it on order or not... I know, it's $250 and that's why I'm asking!

I could be wrong, but I don't think an R-60 that came without the cargo net has the requisite padeyes for installation. My 2008 MC had the net with the necessary padeyes to attach the retaining clips.

I guess I'll know the answer to that in about 6 weeks when my CM gets in. MA told me that I'm now in production and no more changes for me.

I hope it's more than a $12 fitted net marked up to $250...
