Here's a timeline of one of our recent arrivals for an ALL4 in the Midwest.
Completed in production 9/28
Set sail 10/10
Arrival at port in Baltimore 10/21
Arrival at our dealership 11/1 (in some cases it is 4-5 days later)
Some of the cars on the ocean now are experiencing around 15 days travel time due to the weather.
Also if there are port installed accessories add time to the above.
There are so many variables that create a delay but 30-45 days from "born on " date sounds reasonable for Midwest dealers.
West coast dealers will have a longer travel time on the ocean.

Port installed vs dealer installed accessories. It is a dealer choice.
We have an Accessories Specialist that coordinates the sale and installation of the accessories. So we do the majority of accessories at the dealer.
Here's some videos to watch online in preparation for your MINI arriving.

There are boats from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme about once a week (may not be k-line or ww like most MINIs.) My car got a boat quite quickly, but even with a full week wait, my math
is saying ~48-55 days (if the two weeks from the coast is accurate) for delivery of a CM to Colorado once it is built.
just checked the OL and indeed my car shows scheduled for production... at least there's progress.... anyway, I am crossing my fingers that I get the car prior to the end of the year... but who knows... Cheers!!!
Put me back on the Week 44 production list, Koopah! I'm officially in production! My MA just emailed me. Haven't checked the OL yet to see if it's updated, but I will as soon as I get home. Hooray!
UPDATE: The Week #44 Countryman Bench Seat Group:
AnnArrogance (TX)
Koopah (MA)
mkortering (MI)
oldvintageiron (CO)
runningman (NC)
SpeedyDD (WI)
(Who will be first to have their MINI arrive at the dealer? I'm betting on runningman; he may be closest to a VDC!)

My OL hasn't updated yet--still shows "on order," and Ask Mini still says "scheduled for production with no confirmed date," but my MA says it's on the line right now. I'm betting that the OL and Ask Mini will have updated by tomorrow. I hope so, because I'd like to get my VIN, but I don't really care that much--it's just good to know my baby is becoming real!
I'm also betting on runningman to get his CM first.
Although, Koopah, you're not too far from the NJ VDC, and the trip from Bremerhaven is a little shorter to NJ than GA, so you might be first!

We'll see....as long as it's by 1/3 I'll be happy.
Of course, we'll all have to watch the shipping companies to see if we all get on the same ship. It's been about 8 years since I tracked a MINI over the pond. I imagine there is more visibility to ship's manifests than there was in 2003.
Anyone up on the process to follow once our CMs are loaded from the dock?
Nope, this is my CM's maiden voyage, and my first MINI. There was a long discussion on the thread about "Waiting for a 2012 CM" when the rail orders went through in September, so maybe we can get some insight from those posts.
SoonerMack, congrats on Boomer. Sounds like a great combo of color and options. I'm an OState grad, so my week 45 order may get orange stripes. I ordered an All4 black with black 18" wheels and white top, bench, heated seats, bluetooth, hk sound, auto, etc.

I'm a transplanted Okie living in north MS, but all my family is in south OKC/Moore. Do you have a name for your CM yet? Blackmon?
Logged on to the OL today, and noticed that my MINI's details have been updated again, so they now include the factory ordered options, including "3 Rear Seats"!!! Also, of interest, they list "flat load floor", for those wondering if it comes standard (I did not order it separately).
Just got notified that our CM-S has now reached 182 status: Released to Carrier. So, we're calling 11/6 its birthday. Now, off to the port to be loaded (eventually) and a quick sail to Southampton to be joined with its brothers and sisters.
Time to get all the business details in order...

I wonder how the other Week 44ers are progressing?
Looks like we have the same taste. Our CM is similarly spec'd to yours...with ducts and mirrors. Couldn't do the red line interior with the black LL seats
. Waiting for viper stripes from MINI-Graphics in the UK. Black broad stripes with red pinstripes. Custom red side stripe.
I paid $250 for the flat load floor

at this point, i'd be just happy getting a frk'n status upgrade....i feel like i'm next in the proverbial short line that takes forever as i watch the long line next to me moving at a much faster rate.
