Smile Premium gasoline?

Sorry if this is a dumb question - I'm not a car expert. Does the All4 require premium gas? Does it make a difference?
Thanks.

Short answer: 89 is the minimum, and 91 or up is highly recommended. 89 won't hurt your engine, but you may lose some performance.

Awww, c'mon, be nice. Not everybody's super-literate on forum software. Plus, if there are 3 million postings on fuel already, what's one more?

Ahh, I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to give the OP a hard time. Just a joke for those of us who have slogged through all the previous threads, that's all!

What he said...

There is dang little that hasn't been discussed about everything MINI on NAM and just a few minutes getting familiar with the terrain will turn up a wealth of information. I know for sure that I have posted the same URLs multiple times on various threads.
