As of yesterday, my CM is on a boat. How long should I expect until arrival at the dealer (Oregon)?

How did you find out you were on a boat? Did your MA tell you or were you able to find out on your own?

 

Congratulations! As of yesterday, my CM is on a train. And I'll hazard a guess that I get mine first. You've got the trip through the Panama Canal to deal with. I'm just going to Baltimore.

Congrats. I have PO thoughts, but still like the cosmic blue. If I'd heard about the PO before ordering I may have changed. I would have had a lot of trouble between white and black on the roof as all PO would have been too much.

BTW where is the train your PO is traveling on? Are you in the US already?

I called ASK MINI this morning and the automated system stated it was on a shipping vessel. I guess I have to call my MA for more details.

Get your VIN from the Owners Lounge, put on your Nancy Drew persona, and see what you can find. Keep in mind that updates are not immediate - you have to be patient. Right. At least it will keep you busy while your wait.

Ah, thanks. I called ASK MINI this morning and was told my CMS had arrived at the port of exit. They said beyond this point, they can't tell me anything else and I would have to get all info from my MA who has given me approximately zero information about tracking.

Sealy - did you track your car on the WW site? If so, where do you enter the VIN - under customer reference number?

My CM was 2 days behind you in the process and it just missed catching Madame Butterfly to Port Hueneme - now sitting in Bremerhaven for (hopefully) the Toledo on 4/23.

 

I'm still on the train to Bremerhaven - enjoying the beautiful German countryside. I think we just passed Franfurt am Mein - I could just see the Opern Platz. No boat tracking for me, yet.

I believe the entry for the VIN is the cargo ID number.

Mine's on a boat as well but I can't figure out which one... the ride's almost over though, it should arrive at the VDC on the 14th (an estimate).

Arrival at Port Hueneme on 4/14 would be the vessel Elektra.

 

My CM has been in Bremerhaven since 3/27 waiting for a boat to Port Hueneme. Just called the 866 number and computer said CM is "in transit".

I'm hoping it means its on the Madame Butterfly.

Checked the WW website and VIN shows no record.

Where on the OL can I find my VIN#? I was just told by my MA that my Pure Red "Diablo" is being put on a ship today!!! I dont want to go back to my MA again as I think I have bugged her too much throughout the process and she might think I am either stalking her or a little too obsessive about my car.

 

Go to Track, then review order detail. Putting in right on top would be too easy.

 

Thank you Sealy!!! I found out I am on vessel BESS...due to arrive in NY on 4/27 (THE DAY I LEAVE ON A TRIP FOR WORK TO HOUSTON!!!) I guess it will give me something to look forward to when I get home. Now I am going to obsess with following Diablo cross the pond!!!

My Countryman was loaded onto a boat on March 31st but I still can't track it. Thinking it's on a K-Line boat so I have an email out to my MA. I know it's a very long trip up here to Pacific NW(Seattle). On week 7 I believe and this wait is giving me white hair!!!

 

Didnt mean to make you feel bad....how long has Pure Orange been waiting? For me it seemed to be about a week from when it was bron to getting on a ship.

 

By my notes your CM should be on the Undine due into Port Hueneme 4/23 and Tacoma 4/27.

 

This has been Pure Orange's European travel week. I think he got off the bus from Graz late yesterday. Probably went looking for an Impure Orange to spend the evening with.

We'll just have to wait and see where he ends up tomorrow.
