Yesterday, I was on Rt 1 and at a red light a sprightly Blue Honda Civic Si Coupe wanted to race.

I have been driving that stretch of road for a while, so I know there is no red light for a couple of miles and it is pretty much empty most times.

So we had the pre-drag race etiquette and then when the light turned, I was busy hitting the sports button and it smoked me at the start. But then came the turns and it was priceless when he had to slow down and I just flew past him and then never looked back. The CM is on rails and all he could do is watch my tailights and hear Chinky growl !!!!

So my record is 1 - 0 !!!! Muahahahahahah !!!

Now get ready for the long line of posts telling you not to do that again...

what is life without a little fun !!! And no one turns down a double dog dare to race, it is middle school rules out there :-)

Curious, I know it's not listed in your sig, but I thought I'd ask... it handled that well with or without the Sport Suspension?

Driving the JCW, young guns in their modded rice burners pull up to me quite often & want to race. It's tempting & annoying at the same time, but I smile(& laugh) giv'em the thumbs up & watch them putter off down the road as I swagger behind at the speed limit.
