We got a great deal and were able to make money on my wife's 2005 Mini Cooper S!

Because the MCS sold so quick I didnt have a lot of options so I settled for the demo. It has an extended warranty, no scratches, etc. 2400 miles and the following options:

-Auto Trans
-Cold Weather Package
-Leather Seats
-All weather Floor mats


Because I sold my MCS for a lot more than I owed, and because I did the deal as an in and out (big tax break), I was like 31.5 out the door?

Sticker was 31,500

I thought that was pretty good and I am willing to take the 2500 mile demo. We didnt have 3 months to wait for our custom design. Only things we got that we didnt want: Leather (my leatherette seats look 10 times better than the leather seats in my other mini cooper s)

I would happily have traded leather for the premium package and gotten the moon roof.

Seeing as that was the only difference in what we wanted, I am very happy that this car was available for immediate delivery.

 

So do you still have 2 MINIs? Or was the PW in the pic one that was sold?
Nice choice, regardless. We just picked up a Cosmic Blue CM and I will be getting my new Horizon Blue MCS in a few days so our garage will look like yours, but in blue!

I know that car well Driven it many times in fact. I recall when it got off the truck and they were trying to decide which CM to make their demo.

Mini of Murray was ok. We should probably take that story to PM's

We worked with Mali though and she was excellent to work with. We landed in a predicament with selling the DarthMini so quick and she got the manager to sell us the demo even though it hadn't reached the mileage limit etc. We wanted a black top and moon roof, but really didnt have 2-3 months to wait on it. Other than those two options it is basically just how we wanted it anyway.

As for mods, probably some vinyl stuff, intake, and eventually an exhaust. Probably leave the rest stock and just enjoy it. My R53 is the toy anyway.

NICE, looks great. What percent tint did you get and how far up does the clear bra go?

 

20% and the bra goes up maybe an inch inch and a half beyond the headlight? I can get you a good deal on that stuff Lmk if u want any, I paid a good deal less than the dealer wanted. They have done a few of my past vehicles. Best clear bra guy around IMO. Does tons of exotics etc.

 

What shop is it (or shoot me a PM ) Does the clear bra go all the way down the front grill too? Is 20% tint the legal max on the front windows?

 

30% I think is the legal limit. I've had 20 on all of my cars and never had an issue with it. I ll pm you all the info. You should go to cars and coffee tomorrow am at "Espress Yourself" off 106th south across from mulligans.

I have driven that car too! I am working with Mali at Mini of Murray. She has been great. My CM should be here in about a month. Do you work/own Turtle Factory? I picked up one of the cards at Mali's desk the other day.

I am interested in where you had your car tinted and the clear bra put on too. It seemed to me to be a little pricy at the dealer to go with them. I am still fairly new to this area and want a professional job but at a good price.

I will send you both information on the tint and clear bra. My bra comes with a 6 year warranty as well. He did the entire front as well as mirrors and offered to do the tail gate but I declined on the tail gate.
