Saw another today on I70 around Wheeling WV. This time a light coffee. I believe that puts my count up to 5 out in the wild

5!? That's wild. Still not seen any other than mine in the Portland area. I just know when I finally see one it's going to be when I'm driving another car and they will give me a strange look like "Wow, that guy in the Dodge truck is crazy."

 

Think it's just because I travel so much for work. I've seen 3 in different parts of indiana, 1 in columus, and the 1 today in WV. The really sad part is I even remember the colors. white, black, red, grey, and coffee. At this rate I'll have seen every color by July

 

I still haven't seen one here in Quebec, well except at the dealership. I drive a huge amount and in the last three weeks I have been in Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. Not a CM anywhere to be seen.

I should have mine on Friday, I am sure I will get some confused looks!

 

Saw 2 here in Raleigh NC on Friday- a royal gray/ black one on my way to work, and a black/ white one on my way home. I was so excited to see each of them, and then saddened by the fact that mine is still waiting to board a ship...

 

I've seen a total of 3 on the road so far in Los Angeles.
1) Light White
2) Surf Blue
3) Crystal Silver (but it was a Wanderlust marked up car...so i suppose it was a Mini corporate car)

I have seen a all black, red w/ white top and a gray one so total of 3 around Indianapolils, IN

 

After a long drought, things have picked up. I've now seen 6 in the past month - 4 in the Indianapolis area (surf blue, silver, white and gray) and 2 in Louisville, Kentucky (silver & coffee). I gotta say that surf blue is beauuuutiful!

 

Finally saw my first one on the road here in Nashville yesterday evening! It was either Cosmic Blue or Black, black wheels, with tinted windows. Just saw it in passing.

 

Finally saw another CM Black on Black in this area, on Hwy36 coming out of Boulder.

We were heading to South Denver in our OxfordGreen ALL4.

Now I know there are 3 in the area being driven.

 

Finally saw one today. I had just parked mine on the other side of the parking lot at Bridgeport Village and the guy was sitting in the handicap spot. White, Black roof with stripes. He had yet to be through his first tank of gas but was excited about the car. It feels good not to be alone... ;-)

 

I'm not sure if to count this or not, but just as my friend and I are about to pull into the MINI lot to pick up my CM, a Cosmic Blue CM passes right by us. I don't know if he was test driving, picking up, or just leaving. I'm going to put it down as a no because that will mean I didn't see any other CMs in the wild until mine!

 

I'm getting tired of looking and looking, but not seeing one in the wild. I live in Atlanta, and know there are other CTM's out there, but not a one near where I drive. At this point I'm starting to think I've been dreaming this whole "I own a Countryman" plotline, and I'm going to wake up in the shower and realize the last 3 months were a dream.

 

They are starting to pop up even more now. Encountered 3 of them in 12 hours.

Surf Blue / White Top Cooper Countryman at N Hollywood Wat exit 134 on Alameda.
White / Black Top w/Stripe Cooper Countryman on 405 near Beach Blvd.
Cosmic Blue / Black Top / Anth Wheels Cooper S Countryman on 405 near Venice/Washington Blvd.

I pulled into my favorite ethanol-free gas station and was pumping away when the owner's wife came out. She just LOVED the car. What is it? A MINI? No way! It's got four doors! And it sits so tall!

Very fun introducing someone to the CM for the first time!

 

I've only seen two in downtown Chicago, all black and an all silver with black stripes. My pure orange/red beaut w/ white top is on the streets daily so I am getting the exposure up here. I've gotten a few thumbs up and many compliments on her.

 

Funny, I started this thread months ago after not seeing any on the road and still hadn't until yesterday I saw my first one in Portland, today I saw another going the other way on the road coming out of Zion National Park in Utah.

 

I'm in Northwestern NM and haven't seen another Countryman yet - only had mine a couple of weeks, though. Seen quite a few MINIs but no Countryman! Maybe I'm the only person who has one here yet? LOL

 

Seen another. Pure Red with black roof and bonnet stripes heading north on I45 out of Houston. She turned onto 610.

 

After 4 months of looking for one in the wild, I finally saw one today! It was a rare sunny day this year, took a drive along Hood Canal here is Washington. Coming through Port Gamble around 4:30 I see the 'S' grill with the down turned ends coming right at me! Color was the Royal Gray, looking all clean and shiny like mine did today.
Sigh...

 

Just took a long weekend trip from Seattle to Santa Rosa, up and down the coast a bit, on I5 mostly. Nary a Countryman to be seen, and not a whole lot of MINIs for that matter.
