R60 I've yet to see another Countryman on the street.
Aw, it's first kiss and it is playing shy.
I had to go to England to finally see one on the street. We were there on vaca and I finally, finally saw the Countryman in it's natural habitat....traffic.
Came home and bought one!
Now I'm anxiously waiting delivery.

Saw my first on the road the other day. And I have two different friends who own one.
And on a personal note, after two months of hemming and hawing with my wife and the dealer on this purchase, we will take delivery of our silver ALL4 on Monday. The only thing this car doesn't have that I probably want is leather seats. I'm considering paying for aftermarket leather a little later on. The dealership does this for some owners from a local shop and the work looked pretty good and the price is no different than the factory seats.

My mom (also a MINI owner) just got back from a trip to Europe, and one of the first things she wanted to report when she got back was ... the number of Countryman sightings! I don't fall far from the tree. (FYI: 4 in Austria, maybe one in Germany, none elsewhere.)
My CM and I saw two this weekend driving around the Philly area, a white one with black roof and black stripes, and a red one with black roof and black stripes.
This one gets filed under Someone Else Spotted a CM - - -
I was coming out of Wendy's as 2 men were walking towards me and the entrance. They both looked back in the direction of my CM and I overheard:
1 - I didn't think they were that wide . . .
2.- Yea, it doesn't look . . . are they that big?
1.- I don't know, it just looks . . .
2.- Yea, there's something different about . . .
By that time the were most of the way inside, so I just let 'em go.

Sealy - I like your original perspective on things, makes me laugh.
So far in Hawaii, I've only seen a silver/black top/black stripes and a white/white top on the roads. Although I've only been paying attention for a month now.
Now that I AM paying attention I see MINIs everywhere, but hardly any countrymen.

I am Active Duty in another branch, and this happens to be our closet base. Always stop anytime we are in ABQ.
I live in Myrtle Beach and I must have the first Countryman in town. Traded in my Clubman in Feb for a Pure Red Black bonnet striped CM with leather interior. Love it! There are lots of Minis in this area but so far I haven't seen any CMs!
My husband went into work this week and there's a new Countryman in the parking lot with temp tags; Light White with Black. Ends up, the guys other car is a Clubman.
If nothing else, they can wave to each other as they arrive and leave work! ;-)

since getting my countryman, i've been delighted to see lots of MINIs... but the CMs are rare -- i've only spotted 2 in passing.
OTOH i did snap a phone photo of a clubman checking out my countryman - he stopped traffic to take a look, then circled the parking lot to come around again

I saw my first one yesterday in Mont Tremblant. I thought I spied one ahead of me in a line of traffic, I kept my eye on it and sure enough I was right. Dark gree with a white roof and a sport rack. Looked very sharp, never got close enough to wave.
Just did trip from Pittsurgh PA to Boston MA and saw ONE countryman in the 10 hours on the road and we were looking for them.
Saw 3 minis in all, all hard tops... THEN we got to Boston at our bed and breakfast, had to park in slot 3 in the alley behind the building... Parked directly beside a blue Clubman... Now thats cool
