Well it looks like I will have no idea where my baby is till it arrives at the VDC.
Not listed on WW. I went by the dealership today for some other things and my MA and SM looked it up and said it will be at the VDC on the 9th and may be here by Valentine's, but didn't have the name of the boat. Optimistic you might say??? Maybe even impossible??
Well I would think so too, but they have beat the normal timeline at every turn with getting her done and shipped. So I may be on the Faust with the VIN not listed, which I have heard of, or more likely on another line already steaming across the pond!

If your car is arriving on the 9th at VDC (I assume NYC?) then you are most likely on the Torino boat. My car was loaded the same day as yours and will arrive at port in NYC on the 9th.

Somebody in Houston said their port was in Brunswick, Ga. so that is why I was thinking the Faust. I think the Torino isn't there till a few days later.

Make time! I understand if you don't have a need.

Let us know, if you do. Busy is busy as we all know.

they better! otherwise I really won't see my new car until April. I'm really surprised that no BMWs (I searched on some BMW VIN ranges, too) or MINIs got on the ship in Bremerhaven, it never occurred to me that other car manufacturers would ship from there to the US... oh well.

Even robo mini says my vehicle is at the port. No shipping assignment yet, but it honestly doesn't matter. The way my Feb is lining up, it could catch any of the next four ships and I'd be picking it up the same day (I'll be out of town for almost a week around when it would arrive at the dealer anyway).

This is fun:

so now I've started to reload the shipping schedule on a daily basis. awesome.

but I do see that the Maersk Wind moved from a scheduled 2/12 departure from Bremerhaven to 2/11... somehow that changes the estimated arrival at Port Hueneme to 3/6 (from 3/9 as listed on the 1/27 schedule)

not that I'm obsessive, or anything...

The schedule is fairly fluid and arrival/departure dates at each port are all subject to change based on how things pan out over the trip.

Is anyone's Countryman on board the Tirranna? I have been checking the whereabouts of the ship and the last reported location was on 1/27/11 - still in the Celtic Sea. Hope it doesn't mean it sunk. :p I thought they had to report their locations regularly. Maybe not. I tracked my MCS in 2009 and I saw the location of the ship daily. This one seems to be "stuck". LOL

Sometimes the ship doesn't update for multiple days. Don't know why. At least you're on one! "Waiting at the port for a ship..."

I lost tracking with vessel Faust for over 5 days. Two days after it left Southampton...Poof...gone. I must of checked the tracker every other hour,
found other vessels and checked who they where close to...just gone and then on the morning she was to port at Halifax, just appeared! And again today 4-5 hours out of Halifax on it's way to NY...tracking unavailable. Probably will spot it sometime earlyvmorning as she due to dock @ 10:00 AM. Hurray !!!!!!
Hang in there, I know it brutal at times

Sure seems it..I saw it in person for the first time last weekend at the dealership but with a black roof. I thought it was going be one of the rare colors. But over the last few weeks on this forum a lot of CosmicBlue being built.

I don't care. It was the color for me (between that and a close second of Oxford Green). I knew lots were ordering black and white, and many were buying the Cosmic Blue with a white roof. I think the color is amazing, and while it would be a bummer to be driving next to three of them, I think it will still be a pretty rare commodity.

For me, I wanted the coffee leather interior. There weren't many outside choices with that, and the csomic blue was the best one. A little too conservative for me, but I balance it with the white roof.

Still waiting as well. MA is not sure why a ship assignment has not been made. Looks like March not Feb is closer to reality.

Looks like Tirranna is heading into Baltimore tomorrow. It just popped up on radar again today. I wonder how the snow storm will affect delivery time.

If there isn't a ship in port, I can imagine they simply didn't assign it. The ships going to Baltimore don't get in until tomorrow.

Looks like the Oberon leaves port today 2/4. Anyone know how soon a VIN would appear via the WW tracking site?

Not sure. Robo still has me at the port awaiting a shipping vessel (as it has for a week). But it's likely they don't log them in until they are on the ship or it's also possible that there is a delay in posting the VINs on the site.

VINs take several hours or more to post. The best way to tell when the manifest starts appearing is to simply search on WMWZ, this way ALL Countryman from all vessels will display. Once you see your vessel name appear, you know the manifest has started to post and at that point you can search for your specific VIN. My car came over on the Oberon as well. It is a newer vessel and is quite speedy. Good luck!
