If you could take it for a spin I'd go!! It is nice to see that they are finely seeing the light of day in full production trim!!

I wonder if a liftkit (so you can put some huge rims on it)will be a factory option!! Might make for a cool spoof commercial!!
Just think "little foot!!", able to crush SmartCars too I bet!!

Did anyone sit in the back seat? Since I have not seen a Countryman in person I'm trying to find out if it is spacious enough for a 6 ft, long-legged, 13 year old boy with sizeable feet. This will be the sticking point with my wife to get rid of her big SUV

Our preview in Albany, NY is on Saturday the 20th. I wonder if it will be the same Countryman?

Thanks Yetti96! Aside from that I've got her sold on the vehicle's gas mileage, the fact I have an O2 MCS she loves to drive etc. This is the only sticking point.

I sat in the backseeat of the demonstrator they had in Alexandria. I'm about that size and had no trouble sitting behind the driver's seat when it was adjusted for me. IMHO, there's plenty of legroom.

I have size 9 shoes, about 200 lbs and 5'10". I fit behind the drivers seat very well. Nice buckets in the back.

At the time the drivers seat was back for a 6ft driver, felt pretty good.

One of the big reasons I'm getting the Countryman ~ 12 year old son with size 10.5 feet. He can't get in and out of the backseat of my MCS with his shoes on.

My husband is almost 6 ft and has size 13 feet and fit well in the back seat. He adjusted the drivers seat to where he would need it and leaving it in that position, he then slid right into the back seat with no problems. We saw ours at Century Mini in Greenville, SC. It was awesome to see and sit inside. Now if we can just decide on a color!
