Very nice! I'm going for red/black theme as well, but opposite of you (my car will be black with red accents). Another 10 days to go hopefully!

Flamewinger - nice side stripes and scuttle treatment. I like adding visual interest to the side of the car too. Reminds me a bit of the side stripes on the Fiat Abarth which was also "copied" on the R58 Coupe at one of the Euro Shows...

Thanks bentyyc. Advantage of SoCal weather. I hear a cloud is coming this weekend.

Hi there- Strange question, but can someone please measure the width of the bump on the bonnet? I have a Countryman on order and am planning to get a stripe similar to this, http://mightystripes.com/Images/Stripes/14Racing-R-WR.jpg

Just want to make sure that the center stripe covers the entire bump. :P

I figured this would be a good thread to ask since you actually have your vehicles already...

It's about a half inch high and 13" at it's widest point. It comes down from the top and ends 6" from the Mini emblem. So 18" long. It really isn't much of a bump but it might make the stripe deform at the highest part. (depending on how wide the stripe is)

Hopefully someone else will know more about the "bump" and stripes.

The two MINI's are slumming outside on a misty Saturday morning as I work on the garage door opener replacement project.

Look like Apex ARC-8s. I have 18x9.5's ET22 for my M3. Lightest wheel you can find for the price.

They have tons of group buys all the time... just gotta look out for them.

This picture reminded me, there's a post here somewhere that mentions the back of the CM getting a lot of dirt and roas debris... Does anyone know if mudflaps help with that?

I have them…front & backs. They help for sure, but won't eliminate what your seeing in the picture. The fronts help disperse the road dirt away from the door panels and keeps it lower. They actually look pretty good as well.

Thanks Flyer. I'm getting the flaps for front and back but was curious about clear-bra'ing the back end. Def doing the back bumper.

Yes…I did the top of the back bumper in the 3M clear as well. Definitely helps protecting from scratches, loading and unloading. I think there has been a few posts here as well, ordered from overseas..black in color I believe.
I opted to keep it clear using the 3m material.
Good Luck

I've seen the black bumper protector and though it looks nice on other CM's, I'm def opting for the clear bra.

I really just can't wait to see my car and put her badge on and the stubby antenna, and just to push that start button for the first time! lol

Would you put the clear bra on before or after putting your stripes on ?

If I were going to put stripes on, I'd do it before, but never really thought about it actually. The good thing about the clear bra is that it can be removed if needed. No peeling of paint or anything like that. That is if you get a good clear bra and installer.
