Nice color on your CM too... glad to see you also got the Bonnet Stripes. I got the badge at http://www.gobadges.com, it's in the 3D Badge Section. He does some nice work. I'm sure I'll see you, not many CM's in the wild yet, I actually haven't seen a single one on the road and mine definitely gets a lot of looks from people who are surprised to see a larger, 4 door Mini...

Me too. Funny about the stripes.......I took mine off a couple weeks ago and I'm going to pick him up later this afternoon. I had black "viper" stripes done bumper to bumper. I'll post some pictures soon.

Interesting...I've got an appointment this Saturday to have white Viper Stripes put on the bonnet, roof, and rear...I'm also having stripes applied just above the bottom of the door seals.

This baby is about to transform...

No. I had local guy do it with a plotter. I did black gloss on the bonnet and boot and matte black on the roof. I'll take pics tomorrow and post.

Hey Geoffrey and jondfish-where are you both in south Florida? I am in Jupiter and haven't seen a single countryman on the road since I got mine on new years eve. I am getting tons of comments/looks/pointing. Waiting on my bonnet to boot viper stripes, which I ordered from England, as I could not find them here. Having them installed by a local tint/graphic company.

Happy motoring and see you on the road,

I've seen a Royal Grey in Savannah, seems to be driven by a high school student since it is full of large teenagers whenever I see it.

it looks rather un-MINIlike actually. I was a little surprised at how long it took me to figure out what it was. The grey is also a little nondescript looking, although to be fair, it's been rather grey in the sky department so that isn't helping any.

Had our Countryman for about a month now. I live in the Dallas area and I drive 23 miles each way to work on the busiest freeways and side roads...and although the two dealerships in the area seem to be moving quite a few countryman, I have yet to spot one on the road.

In fact, its probably the case that no one has spotted mine on the road since my wife drives it and she's a stay at home mom. We do however drive around in it on the weekends as a family.

I've only driven it to work once.

Polo,

When are you buying your own?

You seem to like it more than your wife.

My wife is not into forums etc. I'm the car enthusiast but she definitely likes to drive nice cars...she just doen't make a fuss about it.

It just so happened that it was time to replace her 10 year old Mercedes S Class and she'd always said she like to get a Mini if it ever made sense. - The Countryman made sense so we got it.

I'll be up next for the new ride in about two years when I turn 40. A Range Rover Sport or Porsche 911 is definitely in my future.

ALL4 with Mini Roof Box

Had my Royal Gray All4 for a week and loving it! Need better weather here in Denver to get decent pics but thought I would post a couple now.
First, with the Mini Roof Box in place:

Happy to answer questions about the box. Easy to install, and reasonably "Mini sized", and plenty roomy inside.
And here it is without the roof box:

Charlie, very nice ALL4, the Royal Grey almost looks brown off and on.

You a MINI5280 club member or attending any events?

I think we will take the ALL4 on the Icicle Rally on Feb. 19th.

Link if your interested:

Great looking ride. The Gray Body/Black Bonnet Stripes/Black Roof/Black Wheel Combination gives it sort of a Military Assault vehicle look.

Now that's hot!!! The best looking striped Countryman I've seen so far. The Red stripes totally set it off. I'm getting white sport stripes just like that put on my Countryman tomorrow. I hope it looks half as good.

CharlieKe: Looks great with the black top, black wheels, black mirrors and the black stripes are stealth on the grey! I also like the red seat cloth combo with the grey exterior. Any interior pics?

Pimmy...LIGHT WHITE represent! The aero kit looks great too That's my favorite pic with anthracite turbo fans so far!
