R60 Countryman Photos
Cost for pipes and install was $118.00 and would have been cheaper, but they
cut the pipes before the bend instead of after to get them perfectly
centered in the opening. 4" diameter, 8" total length.
@ Kenningtons, Looks good next to the P car.
You swapped out rims and tires, what did you put on?
@ jklotz, If I would get a newer MINI or another CM, I think I might try on the Royal Grey, that looks sharp.
Now I have to go clean off some snow crud from our CM.

Thank you very much, for your comment old81
So if, I have the honor of being able to prove all the Mini.
But the better thing of everything is to enjoy them in lovers' company to the Minis
Cleveland Auto Show 2011
I went to the Cleveland Auto Show over the weekend and checked out the Mini display. They only had one Countryman there - a Pure Red with black roof. Here are a few pictures. I was disappointed they didn't have more Countryman there.

The Pure Red color is not as orange as the pictures show it. The problem with the photos was caused by the digital camera. One problem could be the lighting in the room; it can change the color temperature the camera sees and records. That causes the color in the final picture to look different then real life. To cure the problem would be to re-adjust the camera white balance for the lighting, or if you shoot raw just change the white balance with Photoshop. Another problem could be exposure setting, in this case over exposed. Sometimes the camera is tricked by what the sensor sees. Some cameras evaluate the lighting in the whole picture frame and can over or under expose the subject of the image. Look at some of the things in the background; those colors also appear off. The pictures are washed out, no real blacks. The curtains in the background or the roof of the car, they look greyer, not a true black. A good way to see what is happening is to take two pictures. One will be of something all white, like a solid white sheet of paper the other will all black, another sheet of paper but black. Make sure the colored paper fills the view finder or complete viewing screen and take the pictures. Now look at them, both will look the same, a light grey color.
As for the color Pure Red, it is more Orange when compared to Chili Red, but if you were to compare to Porsche Guards Red you find both close to the same hue. Same goes for some reds on older GM cars and trucks, look at the red on the SSR.

I was at the Cleveland Auto Show and the Countryman was orange, exactly like the photo.
My husband said, "I didn't know it came in orange." The sticker said "Pure Red". The VW GTI was on the floor at the same show in Tornado Red. It was a true red.
I really am discouraged by the extreme variability in most of the Countryman colors. Even in the most flattering light, most (all?) of them are "meh" and in cloudy conditions, they seem to range from "blah" to "yuck"!
The upside is I don't have my heart set on any particular color. I'm even open to Light Coffee!
