just saying hi to what i'm sure is an elite, albeit rather eccentric collection of folks. already ready to upgrade from my fancy pants slapstick to something a little more assertive. on my way to Markle BMW in Omaha to remedy the situation. looking forward to meeting fellow corn nuts.

Eccentric? Quite possibly.
Ready to rumble? Most certainly.
We are quite a varied bunch. While there are a few normal owners many of us on NAM are nuts about MINIs.
Call it obsessed or what have you.
:impatient Ask our spouses and families.
My front door has a sign that reads:
"A MINI nut and a normal person live here"
That sums it up.
You should be glad that you are considering the new R56. Quite a good MINI- enjoy.
