MiniMania R56 style
Greetings all!
I have been quietly reading through this forum for the last few weeks as a guest, but all the kinship and love for this fantastic icon has led me to purchase my own. The MC has never really been my first choice of car, but as I became more familiar with the heritage and driving characterisitcs, I wondered why I didnt consider one sooner. Lucky for me, the R56s are rolling out in 07 with a host of updates and upgrades.
My MCS is made to these specs, let me know what you think:
Astro Black with black roof
Chrome package inside out
premium/convience package
DSC/LCD/Power fold mirror
Flamespoke rims
rooster red color line/piano black dash
Anthacite Headliner with upgraded hifi
Should be my beauty in black! Cant wait to start MOTORING!

I've been told that the two tone exterior is a distinguishing feature of the mini, ie- astro black car with white roof. Im curious what other people's feelings toward this aspect of choosing car colors. I am deciding should i get white mirror covers/roof and turn my mini into a panda mini. hehe

my choice was a contrasting roof because I thought it looked better for my color choice. MellowYellow/Blk roof.
The all blk can look classy or can look mean (I mean tht is a good way). Add a white roof and it becomes sportier IMO.
I would suggest cruising around this forum and maybe MINI2 (and others) forums for photos--I'm a visual person so I had to see 'real life photos before I could decide. The MINI2 forum is UK based. There are R56 MINIs in owners' hands in the UK and the EU so there is a good chance there are pics there.
