new MINI owner questions
hi,
i have bought an 04 mini with 11000 miles......now 6 months later it has 27000. My question concerns tune up.....the computer flashes when i turn the car; it on says -2000mile. The car is also making some whineing noises when i turn the wheel, very slight but audible. There is also a sound when the car idles, like the belts need to be tightened.
my questions is: should i bring it in to the mini dealer or am i going to get ripped off.....i have done oil changes every 3000 miles.....

with that odometer count, you should be covered under the service maintenance. call up a service rep, you should be able to get the "free" oil change, (if I read your post right. -2000). And they can review the other issues. Still within warranty mileage.
