Newby

My wife and I are expecting again - this time it's a dark silver MINI Cooper-S. I think we're as excited about this new arrival as we were for our three kids (no we're not planning on having a family of five in a MINI-we're empty nesters now). Our buggy is in transit and should arrive in New York around the end of this month.

Any idea how long it generally takes for a new car to get processed in the New Jersey facility?

Mine arrived at the port in NJ on a Friday and got to my dealer in Princeton on Tuesday or Wednesday. I picked her up from the dealer on Friday. Some of it depends on the timing of catching a ride on a transporter to your dealer. Good luck, it's almost here!

Thanks

Thanks much for the intel - that's good news. Our local MINI dealer has been good about keeping us informed but it's always better to hear from folks who have actually gone through the process.

Donna or Mike - where did you get the cool graphics for your MINIs? I found the MINI "seals" online but haven't discovered the grfx for the actual autos.

If you are talking about the boot stripes - we got them here and put them on ourselves:

If you are talking about the "eyes" - we got those at http://www.miniswag.com/

but have since replaced them both with the eyes from Stoopid Girl here on NAM -
