I'm still here KPMINI! We need to keep this thread alive! "Bones" is finally broken in with close to 1400 miles. Anyone else hit the magic number yet?

 

NEJHAD - I am close to 1500 miles and loving it. I am going to get more pictures today. The tint makes a big difference, also got the invisible bra installed. Also already got the windshield replaced, big rock lots of noise.
Everything is great motoring around in KPMINI. Should get my vanity plates in a couple of weeks.
I can not complain about anything. In my 4th week and everything is great.

Can’t believe your windshield cracked that soon! Is this still a MINI defect? I have read of many windshield problems. Hope it doesn’t happen again! How do you like your tints so far?

 

The windshield was not replaced do to defect. I was hit by a rock on the way to work, did not think much of it until I go out an noticed that it had already made a 6 inch crack.

OK just thought I would get some more news to the individuals that help me get through my wait.
Yesterday was the 3 month mark for getting to take KPMINI home, at that time he only had 9 miles on his odometer. Well when I pulled into the garage after work I noticed that 6625 miles on the odometer.
Just wondering how everyone else is doing, and your current mileage.

Howdy folks

It's been almost nine years!! wanted to check in to see how the 2006 production week 42 support group has been doing After a rough patch, I traded in my Royal Gray MCS (Tini) a few weeks ago- they promised me that they definitely weren't going to scrap her, and that she was going upstate to race around a farm for the rest of her days :P

The last few years were rough on her- Struts, Alternator, Engine Mount, Transmission, Cooling system, all had problems. I hope ya'll fared better?

Now, I have a new 2015 4DR MCS, red with white stripes/roof. pics coming soon!
