Well I just finalized my order today and received a production # for Week 44

I ordered a MCSC Dark Silver ,
Space

 

I have not receive the production number yet. Dealer should call me anytime for one though. I think there is a chance that it would fall into the same week. BTW...mine is black with black.

Hi All, I am also scheduled for Week 44. Just heard about it 2 days ago. I am in Puerto Rico so I am not sure how long it will take but I have a feeling I'll have to add a couple of weeks.

 

I'm in Seattle and originally ordered Sept 15. Was told week 43 and now got pushed to week 44. This waiting game is killing me. I want to drive Mini Me!!!

MCS, BRG/B, all packages, antharcite dash and headliner, LSD, panther leather and webspokes.

 

Called 866-ask mini and was told the car went into production today, and should be done by Nov 2nd.

 

Ahhh...back here again. Not sure if this is my week of not. My new MCS is supposed to be built sometime the week of 10/30-11/3. We took delivery of our new MCSC back in May (my wife's car) so now it's my turn! This will be number 2 in the family

I'm up in Lake Stevens/Everett area. Also have a BRG/B on order, Cold Weather Package, LSD, Front/Rear Fogs, Chrono-Pack. Isn't the waiting brutal? I must say this is much better than waiting for my wife's car (5 months). I just ordered mine last week and it's already going into production next week!

 

Did you order yours through NW MINI? The part the kills me is that I have talked to several others that have recently ordered and they got scheduled almost immediately. I ordered mid sept and didn'get scheduled till last week. Oh well I need to look on the bright side. At least I'm getting one.

 

Yes, we went through NW Mini. Usually the wait is pretty long, but they get extra production slots allocated occasionally and I guess I lucked out this time!

 

Mini Me is in the paint shop!!!!!

That would be pretty cool. Two BRG/B MCS side by side going to the same dealer. Shows were the class is!!!!

 

That would be pretty cool. Hey, what wheels did you get with your car? Did you upgrade? I got the stock v-spokes. Would eventually like to get some anthracite or smoke colored rims to go with the dark color on the car.

 

I thought about that too. However, I opted for the 17 inch webspokes

 

Called ASK Mini and was told the car is in the body shop.. and that it will probably go to the paint shop today. Still probably around 5 weeks to go since I am in PR.

 

Its done, Its Done, Its Done. Mini Me is at the dock standing in line for a ticket!!!!!!

I really not very excited though!!!! Hope all you guys hear something soon.

 

called ASK mini today they told me that it was in the paint shop and still needs to go to some check or something, estimated delivery date is 4-6 weeks later. Speed Racer how long did it take between the paint shop and dock bording?

 

CHRISNG: I am from week 43. They said my MINI was in the Paint shop Monday to Tuesday of last week. When I called again on Friday they said the car was done on Wednesday and was already arriving at the Port.

SPEED RACER: My MINI has been waiting for a ship since Friday the 27th of Oct. Has the WW Tracking site recognized your VIN yet? There is a ship leaving tomorrow on the 2nd. Hopefully we are on that ship!!!

 

I talked to them on Friday and they told me it was in the paint shop with an estimated completion of 10/31. I called on Monday 10/30 and it was on the dock!

 

As of yesterday no. I will check again today, but I'm really hoping that I'm on that 11/2 boat. I think that the next one is on 11/5.

What is your configurationg and how far is your mini traveling?

I just checked and its not there yet.

 

It seems the ship that leaves tomorrow, "Liberty" is the name, has not docked to be loaded, and probably won't till tomorrow. Hopefully then we will see the VINs in the tracking.

My MINI is traveling to Miami, FL. It is a Pepper White/Black Roof MCS. Letherette, Chrono Pack, Anthrasite Trim and Roof lining. Basic, but affordable.

 

i called ask MINI today and they said that my MINI's offical birthday was yesterday OCT 31- i am too excited. They said that my MINI was on the way to South Hampton (?) which there it will wait on the dock for about a week and then it will come directly to southern california. they quoted that it would take 22 days for the ship to reach southern california.

 

Speed Racer or anyone currently waiting for their MINIs to ship, there is a ship leaving today in several hours called the "Liberty." If you go to the Southampton Site Webcam we might be able to see the ship being loaded. The cam shows the eastern docks which is where the ship will be docked to load. We will see...
