New MC40 Owner, looking for others

I just bought a MC40 about 4 weeks ago. Love the car! just found out how special the car is (1 of only 1,000).

In reading more about it though, I found some things that mine doesn't have: No serial# decal between the seats, no extra lights. Anybody know how I can find out what the serial# of my car is?

Will post some pics soon.

Congrats on the MC40.

Some MC40s didn't come with all of the package- parts might have been removed or missing from the dealership or the former owner.

Contact MINIUSA.com to find out if they can help track down the serial# based on your VIN#.

Good luck.

My complaint with the plaque with the ser. # is that it is just glued to the carpet under the handbrake handle. You can rock it back and forth with little pressure. Easy enough to pull up. Its a great car but nothing was done performance wise so even though there are half the number of MC40's (It should be really MCS40) compared to the GP's it didn't get the acceptance the
GP is getting.
That's all right. Now that I have a JCW, maybe when they have kids, one will be a GP40

No driving lights? Thats not right. Did someone take them off?
Ask your MINI dealer, he should be able to find out the serial number from your VIN.

Also check out http://www.mc40.com/

Best of LUCK!

MINIs can reproduce? I thought only Rabbits did that!

Maybe I should start parking my MINI closer to my SO's.

You KNOW this for a fact? Did you look under your boyfriends boot and check out his tailpipe?

Chowsie, I stay away from his exhaust! I can, however, say his sway bar is very sturdy.

How do you know how we like to drive? Oh, right, Eric's videotapes.

Sorry to hijack your thread with our silliness, RedRocketWA!

Ima, you can still adopt.
