Well, I have come out of lurking for the past month or so to post pics of the new accuisition. Purchased from the dealer lot on May 23rd. It just happened to be there, as I was/am not interested in ordering cars. Lucky thing too, since I was "this" close to getting a new GTI. I can thank my wife for helping me to avoid another run on the "Dark Side". This car is soo much different than what I was daily driving for the past 6 years, a 2000 Jetta 1.8T, tuned to 300hp. This car is much more fun!! I am still breaking it in currently, but it seems fast, which is not easy for me to say after the Jetta. I love the lack of a turbo and the immediate handling.

The specs are: 2006 MCS, CR/W, leather, convenience, cold weather, premium, sport, JCW, seven interior, rear fog, HK. I didn't want all the packages on the car, but after the test drive and hearing the JCW exhaust, I had to have it. Damn impulse purchases. One of the main directives from the wife was not to mod the car's powertrain at all, so luckily I got the car the way I want it from the start.

If anybody sees me in the Balto area, give me a wave. I don't seem to have any luck with other mini owners and the whole waving thing around here. Oh well, enough chatter, I hope everybody likes the car as much as I do.

i use to live up in canton, and i had a DS MCS.

if you plan on lowering it watch the roads up in charm city.....they can be a bit brutal.

Again, thanks for all the kind words. I will definately be sending up gang signs to other Mini drivers I live right there in Downtown Balto and there are already 4 other Mini's in my neighborhood. Luckily, mine is the only one that is not parked on or near the street.
