New member in MD

Hi everyone,
I just got MCSa for my wife out of the lot on Monday at MINI of Towson MD, they have alot of MINI Coopers (4-MCSa, 10+MCS6m ,7+Conv & base models) in stock. She loooove it.
This car has almost everything!
RylGrey/Silver, roof&caps, auto, checkmate, premium, cold weather, navi, Har/Kardon, arm rest, rear fog lamp, dealer installed alarm & profilm clear coat for front hood, head lights, caps, doors(at the edge) lifetime warranty.
I'm looking for air intake / exhaust system. Anyone recommend the best for our cars.
Thanks
Ha

Welcome. I suggest you check out the DCMM forum on this website. MINI club for our area. They are having a free continental breakfast, 0930, 6/17. See https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=70731
Ppl just wander in, talk to other owners, etc.

For air intake/exhaust, there is no one "best" unit. Everyone will give you a different opinion and whatever they own will be the best (usually). It all depends upon what your looking for. There must be at least 20 CAIs and 20 different exhausts available. I suggest you talk to or PM mdsbrain, he should be at the breakfast, as he has a MCSa and done extensive mods.

Good luck, your wife will love it

Tire warranty

Thanks to all of you- proud to be MCS ownership now!
I'm wondering call the dealer back to buy wheel & tire 5 year warranty, it made me nervous now, after reading runflat tires threads & costly to repair, where to fix.I like RF's because they are good & easy for my wife to drive everyday to work without stopping to chance tire.
We live in Rockville area, I will post pictures as soon as I get my new camera.

Welcome to NAM! I visited Towson last fall and had a lengthy conversation with a British MA who REALLY knew his stuff. If I had lived closer to Towson I would have ordered my MINI from them. I was quite interested in their upgrade package they offered for $4K. I test drove one of the modified MINIs and man did that thing scoot! They claimed it had about 240hp. Very impressive for the money.

Enjoy!

Woohoo! Another MD person.

I ordered mine from Towson too. Had to order it because all the ones on the lot were loaded up with tons of things I did not want.

We need to start an owner's club. Oh, wait! We already have one.
