Which Dealer has the best prices?

In So. Calif.? South Bay BMW was selling them at MSRP (no premium), but I don't know if that is still the case. Also, does anyone know when the final date is to special order a 2006 Cooper S?

Thanks,
James

James - I don't know about So. Cali but I would take the car for MSRP and buy it soon cuz you might be waiting a while. Also, MSRP is what most Minis sell for anyway. I hear it takes longer to get one on the west coast than the east/midwest. A lot of people even take delivery through dealers in the midwest and have them shipped back to them in Cali. I'd write to a dealer or call them up and ask when the final date to special order a 2006 cooper s is... definitely don't miss out!

Just at Costco in San Diego today and offering $100 off MSRP, but Brecht Mini puts in Lojack, paint protector, etc. Ordered mine through Long Beach at MSRP and no hassles.

Thanks for the Costco info, I live in Carlsbad and have been to Brecht many times, They have been adding upto $4000 on top of MSRP! Unfortunatly for me PRICE Does Matter. I am planning a trip to Missouri in a couple of months, so it might be possible to pick one up there and drive it back. I just don't want to miss out on the 2006 model year because I'm just not sure about the 2007 models yet. At any rate Thank You to everyone for your input!

James - I asked my MA yesterday about the last month to order and she estimated August. Don't hold me to that because I'm just going by what she said. I think I'd still order it soon... you don't know how long the wait will be. Some people have been waiting months for theirs!

Ya I took your route and ordered my MCS on Monday through Long Beach. I didnt think $100 was enough of a deal in order to justify me going 45mins or more south to get the car....considering I live in Newport and go to school at USC....just my 2 cents....

When i bought my Mini i called around to about 3 dealerships and all the prices were almost identical. Since that was the case i just picked the one that was the closest. If your buying used, you may have more leeway though.

i checked two mini dealerships already... all they said they'd do on the 06's is probably take off $200-300 at best... but they usually toss in things like floor mats or rear fogs, etc..

Bought mine at South Bay from Shawni Young. Priced at MSRP. Most dealers here in Northern Cal were about MSRP (except for 1). Can't wait, just found out mine will be done on 5/31
