When do you expect to take delivery?

My MA told me the first week in June, but it would be nice
if it were sooner!

 

Got a production date of 17 May. I expect around the 16th of June for delivery based on my last MINI

I ordered on April 22nd, called 866-ASK-MINI a few days ago, and was told my Coop will be completed on May 17th, putting me squarely in this group, eh?

Not sure what week I'm in. I just ordered my Mini on 05/06/06 but my 'motoring advisor' told me that I missed the last production slot for the week by a day. My order is still pending. I'd thought I'd be pretty cool about this, after all no real change in my life. However, I'm getting ansy, I want my Mini NOW!

I can't wait! I already sold my vehicle (earlier than planned) and am
more than ready to get behind the wheel of my MINI!

 

May is zipping right along! Cars for my dealer come through Charleston, SC. On my 04 car, it was one day less than 4 weeks from the build date to when it arrived at the dealer . . . Your mileage may vary.

 

I found out today from 866-ASK-MINI that I am in the Week 20 group. Look forward to my delivery just like the rest of us. I've got a MCS BRG/W coming.

 

I got my VIN yesterday, according to the guy at ASKMINI my car is currently at the end of the "body shop" and is going in the paint shop in the next 24 to 48 hours. Its still scheduled to be complete on the 15th

 

Well, Mykl, you could be getting paint right this very minute . . .

 

I'm in this goup to. I just found out that my production is complete and it is waiting to be released to the carrier. I ordered on 4-10-06 and this has been the longest month ever and now I have just about another month to go.

East coast or west coast delivery? It matters cuz it takes a tad longer for the boat to walk throught the Panama Canal . . .

 

Should be East Coast as I am in Tennessee. I am guessing SC, but I was also wondering how you find out what boat you MINI will be on. I see all of these people here tracking their boat but I haven't found a way to find that yet.

In late 03, when I was tracking my 2nd MINI, you put the VIN into the shipping company's web site and it would tell you which ship it was on. Then you could get a voyage number and track the voyage. Don't know if that's changes or not. The guys at 866 ask-mini should know which shipping lines. They are using two, I think, K-Line and Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

 

I'm in with you guys. Talked to 866 ASK-MINI and was told mine started production on the 15th, completion on the 18th.
Question about the Owenrs lounge site, Does the 'Order Details' ever change?
If I had not read this forum and found out about the 866 number I would still be in the dark.

 

Well i talked to ASKMINI last night and even though the Owners Lounge still says Scheduled for Production, the guy i talked to named Greg said that as of last night my car is DONE! It must have gotten ahead or the computer was behind, it shows a production date of 05/11/06

 

MINIusa states that my MINI is awaiting transport!! I am trying to be
patient...but it's quite difficult!!

Anyone else awaiting transport?
